my dear dont dress up like that unless you are in resort..people there are dont like it,..what you wore is considered naked...please respect the locals..also reduces the chances of you being harrased by the locals as they dont like their children seeing nakedness
Zanzibar was an amazing country, welcoming and safe. Grateful the locals I came across were kind I was not harassed but complimented for my face as there was no point in time where I stepped out Naked. Arrived in sweatpants in a tee, wore a long dress one day one and a long 2 piece with a biking under which I only revealed at Nakupenda. Changed into a shorter dress for Dinner but that was late at night

I really think it was because it’s the Easter season but the Capetown is generally expensive. I always say it feels like they cater for the tourists and not the locals. I am going to try being consistent cos I can see the last few pics are a abit better since I’ve been consistent

Zanzibar has been dream destination and I initially planned with a partner one year and friends the next until I decided I would probably not go if I depended on other people. Did a lot of research and found it to be one of the safest for solo female travellers. Best decision of my life especially for my first time.
