I grew up on the westside and knew some of these people. I knew Don and Burrell. Decent people especially Burrell (God as he was known on the streets). However, I could never understand why a woman would turn a trick and give the money to a man. If you are going to turn a trick, keep the money yourself or take it home. Spend it on yourself or your family. I know the streets and don't condemn anybody but it just seemed foolish to me. In the 80's and 90's the pimp game slowly died.
