I feel like I'm missing something obvious in the meteor phase... If tether + tower = death and the tank/healer each have a tether, how do they avoid getting killed? Is it possible to take the tower and then dodge out of the tether's path or something?
Exactly so. All anyone is doing is running clockwise along the maps edge and dodging blasts from the tether. Which should have a different name cause they are totally not normal pull apart tethers. They are missile blasts coming from the center. Like a Lazer pointer.
I will say for a fun fact the claim that "if you bring one tank and a bunch of DPS, you won't survive", considering I used to farm this guy on 1 PLD + 1 MCH. While it's clearly slower, it does make me wonder if clearing it with half as many people is faster or slower than clearing it twice.
for anyone farming lvl100 unsync, you only need to know the first half the fight. with deaths + all ranged dps we were clearing at around the 6:00min mark of this vid. you could definitely go even faster with one healer + melees.
Testing complete! with 7 (1 healer, 6 dps with *okay* gear) we got him around 1-5% before adds phase - so I think it's definitely *doable* with a skilled group or up-geared 7, but likely not 6 or less.
I'm like 95% sure you can just two man it on 2x PLD as that's how me and my frined got to the Active Time bit. Although last time we tried we died in phase 7 due to getting clipped by too many AOEs as neither of us new the EXACT right spot.

HI Moonshadow! I've found that the Fae Kitanna for Samurai and the chocobo barding are the most lucrative. I just sold a Kitana for 1.2 million yesterday.
I couldn't do it in PF yesterday even with lvl 100 unsync🫠 I hope this guide will help me But this fight difficulty is ridiculous compared to all the other EXs i cleared to unlock mentor roulette by now.
Thank Youi i was wonder why ppl did this and never explained and found gold. I usually watch your mech guides which are gold but this will help a lot and I will be leveling up my desynth.
that actually helped me, as a war I had to duo with a sprout healer, and surprisingly we did good as we only wiped like 5-6 times before doing it, and the mount dropped on 1st try
"Tried doing this with 1 tank and 1 healer not possible" .... totally possible with 1 healer now ... did 41 runs back to back as the only healer (sage) with no problems
People talking about mounts and all, and yet here i am watching this guide in preparation for an entirely different reason: Dyeable Maiming and Fending Eden top.
