When you thought you'd come from afar and you learn that an Australian was also in the room that evening, coming to witness this historic performance by the legendary The The. How lucky to have been able to be there! Thanks Matt! Thanks to the band! Thanks Ally Pally! Thank you also to you, Jeff, for daring to defy the ban by filming - but from afar and therefore without disturbing anyone - this unforgettable moment. It's so rare today to be able to fully enjoy a gig devoid of all this eternal egocentric light pollution. This September 28, thousands of us have experienced it and it is certain that we will not forget Matt's uncertain smile on the (giant) screen.
You did it great! I was hardly crossing fingers for somebody to record this epic and magical moment and you made it. For my part, I always hide my screen when I (rarely) decide to shoot a piece of gig, Thank you SO MUCH.
Yes , I’m 6ft 4 so it’s only my head that gets in peoples way and I don’t put my phone above my head . I was surprised by the amount of phones especially at a metal gig
My thoughts exactly, I'm 33, jumping up and down and in the pits really fucking loving, people just standing still with their phones out is fucking sad and ridiculous. Great shows I went to all 3 in the UK
I mean you’re great and all that Ms Swift, but let’s see if 50 years later you have folks as dedicated as this… I loved every minute of every gig that I attended this year. Sunderland and Night 2 Wembley joint 1st… He’s beyond words…I just love him (with all the madness in my soul)
Loved Bobby Jean on Thursday! Was in the front pit, so never realised how many people were absolutely buzzing all the way to the back, your video captures that magic!
not sure why they sound so out of tune from the original studio recording. They've been pretty consistent with it up until river plate. Now they just sound a bit off key since then. This is just a small nit pick with me tho. Nice to see my fav band still rocking 🤘
