See the puckers on your luffs? Tighten the halyards until they disapear! Then sheet in just until the fluttering stops. Head up a little in the puffs, fall off a little in the lulls!practice practice practice!
Dude, tighten the main Hallard and trim that main! what are you afraid of? The boat might heal over but that’s OK. You can pinch it into the window a little bit maybe take some lessons?
I singlehanded to Martinez from Sausalito, flew the chute most of the way. Spent some of my best days in the delta on a sailboat. Anchoring was a bitch. Best way to be stationary in the delta is to tie to a tree.
@@anotheradventureonabudget I drug anchor every tide change. Finally I just edged up to a clump of trees, stood on the deck and tied to one of the branches. Slept like a baby. T
Having power issues today. Yesterday I ran a power inverter took my main battery down to zero. Now the tablet and phone and main battery are almost empty . Today sun is helping but unknown if it will fully charge again or not
To busy studying boating rules and regulations. A mistake on my part being a captain can kill somebody, fishing mistake didn’t harm anyone or anything. Next leg takes me out of bay into river navigation ( that’s scary )
You'd be better off if you stop feeling sorry for yourself, that's not helping you at all. Laws are different anywhere you go, you have a sailboat, move. Stay positive, trust me perspective is everything in life..
You are not homeless. You have made choices. You chose to buy a boat which is your hime. You chose to quit your job. All these choices have consequence but the end result will be your dream. Lets just hope it isnt a nightmare
I saved up X amount for my dream journey… I have been very careful to obey and be ready for anything… but there are tons of regulations rules for navigating the water ways and I just threw few lines in while reading the delta river bridge regs …
@@anotheradventureonabudget I hear ya. Home ownership can be a money pit. Especially these days. I enjoy the videos and keeping up with what you're up to. Stay safe out there, bro.
