Hiding your true appearance, or even true self to avoid scaring people is an unfortunate reality. Truth be told, I think both ways of rising up against oppression and prejudice have their merits. But I guess that’s the hardest choice for a lot of people.
The only part I was disappointed about this episode was that they made Koda's Hitchcock Birds look cheap. In the manga the hoard of birds was miced with different kind of birds and insects.
I don't care what people say, I love this episode and this plot point. it definitely could have had more build up, even small things like the reporters after the USJ could have said that heteromorphs were most of the villains, or even stain saying something about it.
I love this series. The first season got be hooked so I had to read ahead in the manga. I binged the manga because it was so good. Trust that everything continues to get better. I'm in my 30's so i definitely relate to Kafka, so much so that I have a Kaiju no8 tattoo scheduled in November. Enjoy the ride man.
What's nuts is this isn't even peak out of this battle yet. I was just lamenting that You Say Run hadn't been used in so long, well they were saving it for a goated scene.
I never said BONES was slacking this season. They've been consistent with every episode being adapted beautifully. This episode I was just anticipating the MHA animation spectacle that's been missing since the Endeavor vs High End fight.
LMAO, "Please don't cockblock me now." Epic moment. In terms of animation this episode is easily top 5. And haha, the waiting. Yeah, as a manga reader it was worse when Horikoshi had to take contant breaks for health and whatnot after Light Fades To Rain. A few times we had to wait 14 days, maybe a bit more for a 15 page chapter. And they adapt 3-4 chapters an episode.

Unless they merge infinity castle and sunrise countdown, this is definitely not the last of demon slayer. there should be two arcs infinity castle and sunrise countdown, infinity castle is just getting 3 movies because that’s how much quality and amount of content there is within infinity castle.
Anime only. I've never felt so invested in any episode of any show ever in my life as this one. It was heartbreaking. I don't understand how they made it so devastating and so beautiful at the same time... but if the leave Bakugo unalived.... I'm just done.....

Gotta say, two of the most polarizing moments of the manga were pretty well elevated when animated. Mirio being nerfed but saving the day with the yams made me actually LOL here, and Edgeshot's (let's be honest) absolute bullshittery plays a lot better when you see it juxtaposed with all of the villains pulling some of their own fuckery out of their ass.
