it’s probably because they’re rope twist. so it’s going to take a bit longer since the strands are separated and twisted around eachother. don’t give up tho, they’re going to be locked before you know it just leave em alone.
I had locs for 11 years heres how i did it i started with 2 strand twints changing the them every 2 weeks then you have to wash your hair with LOC SHAMPOO you need that it helps better then then just twisting that works because your hair has been locing slowly now the part i hate wash you every 2 months it helps because you had to mate the locs together then just when you see progress WASH YOUR HAIR every week then boom locs and get them twisted every two weeks because if you dont it will look nappy YOUR WELCOME😊
