I dont care if you say something negative, but the one thing i gotta give credit for is the enemy design (The unique kind). Like the Redstone Monstrocity, Jungle Abomination from the DLC and the worm guy in the End. Speaking of, the End design is really good, the new mobs, environment is just good. although the DLCs are peak of this game, the main island has only 3 locations that are unique and fun, The Fiery Forge, The Desert Temple and the Obsidian Pinnacle. I gotta also add character builds. This game is fun through mainly seeing big numbers, and there are fun ways to have those, like the famous Fighter's Bindings, making soul builds for the insane bonus damage. I could say more but ill say one thing that ruined this game. ... It was made for kids, therefore the story is bland and the ending just goofy. I have like 1000 hours in this game cause i love bullying bosses and trying to 1 shot them or kill them as fast as possible, and sience this game just scales up you can always find better gear.
Would like to point out that the dungeon crawler examples you gave were also roguelikes. Which mc dungeons doesn't claim to be. It's gameplay is more comparable to diablo, albeit much more simplified. You can absolutely get a busted build, It just takes a decent amount of time. I'll admit that I'm biased (over 2,000 hours), But I also agree that the tower ruined the game.
@@Callmyselfmax I noticed, so did everyone else apparently. As many flaws as this game has, those who enjoy it are devoted to it. the fact that you can sleep walk through some of the levels is something I see as a plus, just something to let my hands do while my mind wanders. like strip mining in the main game.

So i'll give dungeons credit it was at least a 6(on the first playthrough at least), but my god, the people meat riding this game is crazy. You're really that mad over someone calling a mid game awful.
looks like it was kinda meant to be played as a multiplayer game like castle crashers, till you said they shut down the online servers, that's probably what made the game fully die.
@@skrillZUPOLARCOINS4599Parjol yep i tried them all, diablo 2 was my favorite and of course i think its better than minecraft legends. Overall the same formula, had some fun but later on ive got bored like most of games with bad progression system or just too much of it idk
dont listen to this . that footage from the tower isnt his . he dosent know that the items on top arent always legendary . they are just gilded . wich means they have an extra slot .

It had a lot of potential like you said but the DLC is hella fire and I got the hardest difficulty so all I'm gonna say about it is that it's just hard no new enemies or anything new at all so there's no point to playing unless you want all the trophies
For me indies are a clear winner over AAA games. There are a lot of reasons for that. First off,just like you pointed out,AAA games have no originality. When i buy a new game,i want something unique and memorable but when you look at AAA games,it just feels like you're looking at the same game but just with another name and made by a different company. Another thing i want to point out is that in my opinion, better graphics don't necessarily mean better visuals. Most AAA games have amazing graphics yet they look so boring and bland when compared to most popular indies. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying all AAA games are bad ,in fact I'm actualy interested in 2 of them those being super mario odyssey and tears of the kingdom. They do genuenly look interesting and feel like they have care and passion put into them but there are just many more interesting indie games than there are AAA. 2:46 btw ik it's just a joke but hard games can be enjoyable when they're done right. There is a certain feeling of acomplisment you get when you finally manage to do something you struggled with a lot. Afterall that's the reason people enjoy games like celeste,cuphead,geometry dash,dark souls etc.
A lot of the newer games aren't good, and it's the smaller developers that make quality games, unfortunately there is a lot of shovelware games made by indie developers too
I want as much feedback and criticism from this video. In the future I want to make a Analog Horror series about twitch as a whole. So please don't hold back, I want to improve on this type of stuff. Hope you guys enjoy my submission to this film festival. P.S. it probably won't be shown in the film festival but I don't care. If I had to give criticisms, I would say that some of the sound effects like the one at 1:01 are a bit generic and very recognizable which can ruin the immersion. You also should’ve used “their” near the end of the sentence at 1:50. Lastly, you should have an in universe reason for why the images of the streamers after the cure are drawings. Maybe say that they are artist interpretations based on eyewitness accounts. Overall though, I really like it and I think it has potential.
this may sound like im ripping on you but im not, ive seen a far share of Analog Horror and i will say that this isnt bad its actually something that could take off just cause there arent that many like it. Yeah the film grain and some audios/sound effects are used in so many things but they worked good in this, also if that was u screaming in the end use more of that and for the monsters they look like generic monsters but that fine you dont have to have these eldritch horror monsters and i know its just a introduction/first episode but give like a lil bit of a backstory to what the disease are and why its happening to these people. To end this long review or whatever it is, your did a great job for your first Analog Horror, dont rush things and i cant wait to see how this plays out

Amazing video and spells out everything that is wrong with gaming. I'm sure there are many indie games that are absolute trash but they probably don't have 100 devs and a $40m budget committed for several years. How to do it #1: Vampire Survivors: £4 for the base game, £2 for DLCs plus free updates and new maps every few months. #2: Baldurs Gate III: no fanfare, no tie-ins just drop an amazing game from out of nowhere (for an earlier example see Apex Legends before EA stopped putting any effort in). How not to do it: #1. glitch filled messes released to schedule: Jedi Survivor, Payday 3, Cyberpunk, COD MW3, Battlefield 2042. #2. Charging huge prices on games several years old: e.g. all AC games, Far Cry 5 & 6 for £50 each??? #3: pay to win/lootboxes: all EA games, all Blizzard games. Apart from that its all fine.
While there are some great indie games, it's like a diamond in a scrap heap. There are just SO MANY indie games, and most honestly aren't that good. Maybe fun for the novelty for the first hour, but not something you come back to much. Indie Games vary massively in duration and quality. For each Hollow Knight or Celeste, there are 100 trash bags Then AAA games. There are a lot less of them, so it's easier to see the total. And most are quite fun to play. Generally, they tend to have at least a good minimal quality. Yes, there are bad examples, like Fifa being copied yearly, that one Star Wars game where you had to pay to win, when you already bought the game, Pokemon having gameplay issues recently... But you are at least mostly guaranteed to get a good playable game for your money So for me, indie and AAA are both good. Indie games tend to have the best originality, are cheaper but are also shorter. On my switch, there is only one indie game in my top 10 most played, and it's Hollow knight. That's not to say I barely have any indie games, but they tend to be done quicker, even if you go for 100%. If I buy a AAA game, yes it's expensive, but if I do at least a bit of basic research regarding what I want, I got a game that can last me for a long time
