So many layers. How much in on the joke he /they were about interviews. Dealing with staff, stupid media questions, and most of all how hilarious people are when they’re trying to be serious about nothing.💐 this joke was well scripted and gifted perfectly to letterman who truly deserves laughter and love from the best.
Does Adam ask this question a lot on these clips? I didn't understand the joke other than David was a talk show host whose job was to ask questions and not talk much or come up with many of his own ideas so it seemed like it was a sarcastic play on that.
Because the question is the most general question devoid of any research or depth. They set it up like he had just been champing at the bit to ask a profound question and he asked this. It's quite possibly one of the funniest things in RU-vid. The timing from both of them was amazing.
