The reason for the failure of starting this vehicle is not because of the starter motor or the engine. If you noticed, its really slow as the motor turns indicating the battery power is low. These streetlites are powered with 2 12V 1200MaH 625H batteries. This makes up 24V. If the batteries are not good and are badcells, you’ll have slow or no isolation trying to start. However, the bus can still start if the batteries are just about hanging on. The 2nd part of the reason for a non-start is lack of fuel. A lack of fuel is obvious as to why your bus isn’t starting. If there’s no fuel for a vehicle its not gonna run properly. To ensure this bus starts nicely, top up the fuel and replace the batteries. This should get the bus going.
