Because the Bipartisan deal let in thousands of migrants each day when Obama and Trump at the end of each year had a total of 5000 asylum seekers. Theres a reason why you don't vote for something which won't work. And as you have seen Biden can take executive action and still allows 2.5k each day, resulting in a tiny decrease. Absolutely one of the worst borders a country ever had.
Also he didn't block the "Bi-partisan" deal, to think he has veto power is the dumbest thing ever 😂 hes NOT the sitting president, it didn't pass because it was not Bi partisan.
I think the parts where he was calling him the worst president in the history was the worst. Along with another part. But that's only cuz it's a serious roast, this one's a funny roast
This quote actually goes the message of the movie. (Which makes sense since he's the antagonist) There really are some dreams that SHOULDN'T become real.
The Spy Kids movies and the Sharkboy and Lava Girl movie all have some of the hardest quotes ever. It was back when kids movies didn’t treat kids like idiots. It’s some heavy stuff, some thought provoking stuff.
You wish to lobotomize people with technology, reduce their intelligence while you keep all the knowledge on your own............. No worries. Prometheus will rise among you again and again, and someone will give fire away again and again................ So......yeah............... "You hope hatred might someday replace the pain, but it never goes away. It makes a man hideous, inside and out." - Skull Face, MGSV. The game is a goofy stealth action which takes itself too seriously whilst having the dumbest plot know to man. Love it. Also made the "why are we still here, just to suffer?" Meme.
I actually loved this movie as a kid. The 3D gimmick here was always my favorite part, and is still a pretty integral part of the film if you want to revisit it. Plus, from a conceptual standpoint, Robert Rodriguez literally made this entire movie based off of his kid’s drawings, and I will never not respect that.
Thomas Edison was one person who dreamed up a light bulb. The Manhattan Project took eight men from five different countries working together. You only think it's profound because you don't know anything about the nature of inventors throughout history.
I get what he’s going for but I really question the numbers. I mean if it really is a 1:1 ratio then he’s suggesting “more efficient way to light up a room” is an equally common idea as “giant ball of fire that destroys cities” and I just don’t buy it.
Funny thing, the A-Bomb was mostly created because of concerns over Nazi Germany developing one first. Einstein was also involved. He absolutely HATED the idea of science being used to harm others, but it would be preferable to Nazi Germany creating one first. In the end, the Nazis were unable to properly create the bomb. And the people who worked on the Manhattan Project deeply regreted creating the bomb, especially after what happened in Hiroshima and Nagasaki, even if they viewed it as a necessary evil.
