If you are cherrypicking stats, your player is not a GOAT. No doubt Lebron James is a great player. But the bottom line is his fans are cherrypicking what's great from his resume. Either all of the resume count or none of it does. And if that's the case, it's all about the accolades. And if that's the case, Jordan wins.
Thats not the real gary payton thats his son! You content creators need to do your homework and i was about to commend your video but you blew it with that fuck up!
I'm from Chicago it was a blessing to watch MJ in real time play you always knew he was going to give his all on the court never giving up always must see tv Michael is the GOAT and it's not close MJ#23
Was MJ realy good? Hummm let me see....I dont know if I know....Michael Jordan? Good? Like, good with a basketball?? Hummm thats hard....I think....hummmm he was...he was....jesus this is realy a hard question!....I pass!! Its making me nervous, cause its very dificult to know if Michael Jeffrey Jordan was actualy any good in the game of basketball...sorry but I pass...maybe some genious out there knows the answer, a genious like Syephen Hawking, and even such a person will have to go out to the nature for some months, to clean everything around and think exclusively in the question "was Michael "Air" Jordan actualy good?"...its just to hard to reply for a normal person like me, Im sorry...
The difference between Lebron and Jordan is that, during high pressure situations Jordan will take the shot. While Lebron will pass the ball to Wade, Kyrie or Ray Allen 😂
MJ played under condition Getting Closelined in Mid Air Broken Finger Flu Gettin Closelined more to the point they made The Jordan Rule also Retired Twice Came back and 3peat twice What has Lebron ever face
LeBron James has had the best NBA career of all time and to maintain his level of basketball for as long as he has is very impressive, and, if your definition of GOAT is longevity, then he's your GOAT... BUT Jordan's very best years are better than any other basketball players' best years. There is no one else who reached the level that Jordan had for his best. That, to me, is the GOAT.
No zone defense, no super teams, less talented players, league filled with broke ass expansion teams. Only reason why Jordan is the goat is because his stardom coincided with the nba becoming a global phenomenon. If Lebron were to do this first and still playing good till his old age like he is now, Lebron would be the goat.
i watched nba from 93 until now......no one can be compared to this guy... the domination , the aura, the relentless, skills etc . kobe is the only player who almost reached his level.
Was he good? No, he was better than good, he was exceptional for his time, especially at his position, and one of the fiercest competitors to play the game ever.. BUT.. he is overrated and overhyped.. he had almost no competition at the 2 guard for most of his career and benefited from the expansion and early retirements, he objectively wasn’t even the best of his era, Dream was, but David stern would have had a harder time making Hakeem the marketing success that mj is.. (Spauldings were way cheaper than Nikes) and that is the reason why rules were changed, refs were “bias”, and he retired for two years instead of being treated how Pete rose was treated for doing nearly the same things… but I digress.. The man was Kobe fn Bryant without having the benefit of watching Kobe first… that’s enough to land him in the top ten despite being an overinflated, prima Donna.. the guy quit” for a second time after being told he couldn’t keep his “super team” as they are now called and quit again after realizing that kwame wasn’t denis Rodman, he created the “soft” era people are suddenly tired of… and still you have to say that this man was faaar better than good… he was amazing.. it’s kind of like how “professional” wrestling is scripted but people still get hurt and gravity is still gravity… with mike it was like gravity wasn’t gravity.. for as much as I am convinced and certain that in no way is he the goat” … he is top 3 most impactful players thus far and I appreciate the memories..
I have looked at this GOAT thing from every angle. Competition, teammate help, accolades, how well the player played. Offense, defense. Stats relative to their position and its MJ by a wide margin. I have come to the conclusion that Bill Russell is 2nd. Not Kareem or LeBron.
