@@lifetimeequipment4842Now I understand. Thank you. I've been floor technician for 9 years now. But I have never been blessed enough to use a ride-on lol. Just push behind (motorized thankfully). Good day friend.
@@token6282 Im a floor technician too, as my first job :D I just ride those tennants all day and honestly its great, I ride even bigger ones (T16s). 8 hours of push behind machine must be not that nice haha
@@token6282 Pad is designed to match the length of the water scoop/vacuum cleaner at the back. It must match, because if the pads were any wider, you would also need to extend the scoop thing to not be leaving water behind the machine. The pads are essentialy a circular rotating wheels that you can attach different pads to. You can't make them wider, just larger in diameter, and space under the machine is limited. So to extend the area of pads, you need to make your scoop winder and your machine longer to accomodate for increased diameter. A wide and long scrubbing machine doesn't make sense - to clean the whatever floor surface you are working in, you need to make tight turns and squeeze through hallways etc. Oh and also bigger pads means faster water usage, so you need even bigger machine that has even bigger tanks. Makes sense? Tennant scrubbing machines are designed in a certain way to be as efficient for a given prize as they can be, like any engineering piece.
That's really not that uncommon. You may need to adjust the squeegee assembly to adjust how much down pressure is on the blades or you could need new blades. If you haven't already you can flit the blades over and reuse the same blades. (put what is touching the floor now in the clamp and the unused side from in the clamp on the floor)
Hey guys. I have found your video about the Tennant 7200 very good. We have this same machine but unfortunately it’s giving us hard time since the brushes are rising up after being running the machine for few minutes. We have removed them to see if there is anything stuck in the motors but see nothing. Also we haven’t been able to lift up the back squeegee because it’s way to low but again, haven’t been able to do so. Any advise on these two issues? Any help would be highly appreciated. Thanks and have a blessed day!
