Very rarely did someone actually swing, and they were likely to get their ass kicked or thrown out or both. Note that even though it's hot in there a lot of punks are wearing jeans and sweatshirts. Why? ARMOR.

Nirvana agreed with you about Unplugged and mostly eschewed their own songs and played their favourite songs by other people. Though 'Where Did You Sleep Last Night' was something they had already demoed but not properly recorded.

I was about 12 years old when Nirvana hit the scene and at the time punk music had a bad reputation so the music industry had a cleaver marketing campaign and grudge was a rebranding Nirvana to me is punk and the drummer is the lead singer of the foo fighters

Everyone gets what they need to hear in the onstage monitor mix. Didn't used to have such luxury. The Beatles could rarely hear themselves at most US big shows. Later on, and for Unplugged, if you're somewhat familiar with that, they added Pat Smear, ex of the Germs on 2nd guitar. He eventually joined Dave Grohl, the drummer, in his post-Nirvana group Foo Fighters, Grohl plays guitar and sings lead. He played everything on at least their first album. 😊🤙🏼🎶❤️✨️🕊

Interesting reaction! I loved how you dove deeper into the meaning of the lyrics and interpreted into something that you could connect with. "As It Was" is my favorite song of all time, and I didn't discover the song until sometime in late 2022, when I kept hearing it on the radio. It's definitely a mix of emotion and memory. Whenever I listen to the song, I like to go back in my mind to some of my good days. Some of them I do miss, but I love the phrase, "You know it's not the same as it was", because I feel like it's something that pushes me to move forward, but always know that those moments will still thrive in my mind. It's such a great song, and I'm happy that Harry Styles created something that a lot of us can sort of relate to. And yeah, he was part of One Direction. He was actually my favorite one out of the group.

I hope you will do more TSwift reactions. I just discovered your channel, which implies that zillions of other swifties have not yet stumbled upon this reaction. When they start to notice what you are doing, they will probably come flooding in to see what you are up to. One thing to keep in mind is that Taylor's music ranges over several styles and genres. Another thing to keep in mind is that she has awesome live performances and movies, as well as music videos. I would suggest that, ideally, you should plan on doing a combination of music video and live performance for each song where both exist. Here are a few examples of her wide-ranging styles. (Some of these were also requested by others in the comments.)
