Meanwhile at most social gathering I know the host _really_ insist that the guests pack the leftovers because the cakes were brought out of collective compulsion even though everybody actually wants to lose weight and not have junk food at home every week.
My ex-wife. Used to drive me crazy. One time I made three-hundred tamales and didn't even get to eat one myself since she gave them all away to her friends to impress them. 😢
A lot of women will restrain their eating when in front of guests and expect they will have their normal piece later of the leftovers. I know the feeling😂
