I just bought a bottle today, and I like it. I agree with you it’s a fruity floral fragrance. It has a soft dry down. I think I’ll enjoy it as an “easy reach.”
Hi. I think you are very nice, and I Subscribed to your Channel. Thank you for talking about Chantilly perfume. I buy a lot of things on E-Bay especially perfumes where I have a lot that I collected in the last few years. I enjoy learning about them and wearing them, and I like that other people that have the same passion. I decided to buy a vintage a

I like your reviews, the description of the bottle and label is great. I agree with your review in that is not super easy to wear but I love it regardless.
Moth and Squid are unique and definitely wearable, in many ways more so than Bee 🐝. I'm a big fan of Zoologist but haven't sampled the last 5 as the brand isn't widely stocked in the UK. I loved your story about the dragonfly 🦟
My mistake! Lanvin’s My Sin was created way after the 1840’s! I was thinking of Kus Kus by Bourbon French, which was released in 1843 in New Orleans, and still producing fragrances today.
Arcana Wildcraft may be the oil perfume brand I found after watching your video.. hopefully it’s what you were looking for, although the Persephones flowers is not on the list🙏🏼✨✨
@@sandrakluey1856 I would not call any fragrance with a perceptible patchouli note a gourmand because, though patchouli is a relatively small leafy herbal plant, that may even be safely edible, I don’t think the woody fragrance note that it produces is very edibly enticing for most ppl. But if you can think of any gourmand fragrances with a perceptible patchouli note, please let me know! Found this on Wikipedia: “Culinary. Patchouli leaves have been used to make a herbal tea. In some cultures, the leaves are eaten as a vegetable or used as a seasoning. There are also several herbal medicines, both in Indonesia and in China (TCM), that include dry, ground patchouli leaves as one of the key ingredients.” I mean, I guess it’s an eye of the beholder kind of thing, because some people find the scent of minerals or some aspects of soil notes to be enticing and find themselves having an urge to eat it, some call this PICA, but I don’t think one necessarily has to have a nutrient deficiency to kinda wanna eat soil :-) but I wouldn’t call it a gourmand fragrance, no. More like warm, cozy, and comforting :-)
You can’t spray just a little bit though you need to spray like at least 8 to 10 sprays it’s not long lasting or loudly projecting fragrance so that’s the only thing is it’s really a ridiculous price for the lasting power
@@SueGreene-st7qc oh! That makes sense then, I saw a video where the person used up a 10 ml spray in like a week and had to run out and get a full bottle because she was hooked and, all the compliments, she was compelled to get more despite the enormous price tag. She was addicted to it. I think I may need to find the right time of year for it to come through to me like that. What season or temp do u think it’s best for me to try it again?
Yeah you’re not getting it yet because that is the most delicious thing I’ve ever smelled and I have over 200 perfumes, including lots of niche and designer. It is just such an addicting smell anytime I wear it out I have been telling me how good I smell, I don’t know keep trying it
@@SueGreene-st7qc thank you for sharing that! I had a feeling I should hold onto it until I get it. But I’ve also been doing that with my bottle of YSL Libre Intense… Not sure that one will ever come through to me, maybe I chose the wrong flanker and should have gotten the original Libre. -Intense just smells generic to me.
Love heaven sent and wind song my Gram wore them.. and her very favorite of all times was Youth Dew.. I still have one of her bottles and I love to pull it out and smell that scent that I loved and still do!! 🙏🏼❤️
Hi! New subbie! I can't believe that you've got so many of those great old fragrances I remember my mom wearing when I was a kid. Prince Matchabelli Wind Song!!!, Pretty sure that the little bottle with the blue cap is called Lutece. Amazing that AVON did FIVE OUNCE bottles LOLLL!!! Really fun walk down memory lane, thanks!🌻🌻🌻
Hi☺️ I personally love your style ❤ I love vintage things, oldie worldy things. I think you are a lovely person, quirky, funny, yet humble. I love that your room is slightly messy, it’s what makes you, you! Interesting and unique. Of course, these are just my personal observations. Thank you. And hope you are keeping well. Sending much love ❤️ and blessings 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾❤️🙏🏾
Congratulations 🎈 I know you went through a lot to get this fragrance, which means you had dreams and expectations for how it might be and what wearing it would feel like.. How can the fragrance ever measure up? I’m still exploring this fragrance as well. The level remains higher than the pour Femme version I like that’s it’s leather and cypress, I think it’s so weird though, and I wonder if that’s something about the synthetic note or material they also used in this fragrance. I think I remember Ramsey mentioned this fragrance and I thought possibly there was a patented type of fragrance material used in this, I may be mistaken Fragrance Notes from Parfumo: Woodleather® Goldenwood® Nootka cypress Patchouli Vetiver
We need Passage d' Enfer (Passage through hell) by L' artisan Parfumeur. By the way, I think that Memoir Woman would be a perfect scent for Lilith ! It is so, so good. Trust me, my dear. Try it. Scent Of The Night : L' artisan Parfumeur - Premier Figuier extrême (vintage) Olivia Giacobetti is a Fig queen. Cheers.... ❤
It is good, still available but yes, now discontinued for some years.. Our tastes don’t always seem to match with what sells well Sotd: night flyer by Ellen Covey
Did you check the ingredients on both the old and the new boxes of Reminiscence Patchouli to see if there was a reformulation? Certain chemical compounds may have changed as well as the secret "fragrance" ingredient formula. The large houses like LVMH, L'Oreal. and Estee Lauder list formula codes for all their brands on the last line of the ingredients. I just noticed that my version is called Reminiscence Patchouli and the version out now is called Le Patchouli.
And here we go.... Thank you Johannah. Psychodelic is a beautiful Pachouli fragrance and Sundowner is great tobacco scent (and my mother's favourite perfume). Scent Of The Day : Jean Couturier - 12 Greetings from Serbia.....
We miss you I didn’t get notifications since I wonder why I stop by your video by chance looking for your channel I’m happy you are doing good and enjoying your life nice review as always ❤
I got just one on eBay, there are a few more there but they are older and more expensive. I got a few they offer from Amazon sellers that ship from New Orleans but those were not from the Bourbon French store, they seem to be from other sellers who usually also send the two small samples with each bottle, they charge $40 per bottle. But most of these, I ordered from the Bourbon French Parfums website. Their own website sells most of the 4 oz cologne bottles for $34 each.
