I’ve only met Mr Mccoy one time but in that one time I could tell he was such an amazing man. He took to my children instantly and they even called him poppi not even an hour into meeting him. He was truly a gem and will be missed greatly. I am honored to have met him, even if it qas so brief. Rest in piece “poppi” McCoy. ❤🙏
Thank you so much for bringing a more orthodox interpretation of the Word. It is much needed in these relativistic times. My least favorite saying at this time is, " I worship at all shrines." Being Christian is not easy, nor should it be. It never was, and it is even less so now. Jesus let us know that lukewarm belief is to be spewed out. At least atheists believe & have false faith in science. An agnostic believes in nothing, and as the old relativistic goes: "Nothing from nothing leaves nothing!"
Jeff, This was such an inspiring service in so many ways. This was getting back to the True message of God starting with the Ten Commandments, especially re: taking the Lord's name in vain. The only thing that I would have added to yours would be to include "churches & preachers" who use the Lord's name for publicity and for profit. They, in turn, deprive desperate people of true salvation while turning many others away from God by using these shysters as a reason to justify their own mockery of God. I also loved the "guardrails" analogy. Thank you for being a true Man of God. It warms my heart to hear you preach.
I made a comment on the Contempary chat that I wish to revoke. I referred to Melissa Caudell as Claudia or something like that. My only excuse is that for the last 3 days, I've been running a 103-degree fever. I'm so glad to see the Caudells doing leads. Previously, that was rare, and I hope to see them doing that more. Thank you, Jeff, for your strong, Orthodox lesson about Noah. Going into details of the story brings it up from just the Ark & the animals to the true meaning of the story. I also loved the good news/bad news paradigm and the lining of the Covenants. Brining it all into a Christ Jesus message & Covenant.
Great service and message, and I like the new band, but with the versatile organ missing, perhaps we should think of adding some string instruments and maybe some horns to fill the gap and give the music more depth.
This is the best sermon that I've ever heard on what it means to be a true Christian and on how to live in the Spirit of the Lord without fear, without hate, but with bravery, truth, forgiveness and with love beyond our usual measure. Stand up, stand up for Jesus ye soldiers of the cross ✝️. All we can lose is our lives, but the reward is eternal and God holds a special place in heaven for his martyrs.
I knew Jordan Washburn all of my life...At Ray Street School on.......remember going to his office and seeing the memorabilia that spoke volumes about him...Every time I saw and talked with him, he had a great big smile, always....and treated as if I was his best friend....I am so sorry for not visiting him more often...thank you Lord for being able to know Jordan and his love for You...
