Put your phone equal distance from the drums but face your phone away from the drums and point the phone mic straight at the cone of your guitar amp. The phone will pick up the drums throughout the room but your amp needs to point directly at your phone speaker but not right on it. This way the volume levels are half a$$ equal. If you need your guitar to come through more just move it closer. This is why you can crank your guitar but it still may sound quiet on the phone recording bc its taking other things closer as priority. This works for me anyway.
