This song was designed to have an entire room full of people singing along. Such an underrated song. Like all of that guitar noise and pedals was so different to anything I'd ever heard and also like super industrial sounding? I think a lot of it was Chislett. I mean the whole album was. Unreal to see that live. Plus the entirety of Santi was just amazing for bass.
This album came out when I was a freshman in high school and boy did it help me through everything. I'm 30 now and this video is making me cry. I hate when people film during shows but I'm really glad you did this time
Thank you! I’ve really been connecting with the lyric, ‘the songs and the words own the beating of our hearts’ of late. Hearing it live in 2024 is so special considering I first heard it in 2005!
