I am a dental assistant trying to give my long and drawn out explanations of dental procedures and techniques from my experience. Hope you enjoy and make requests so we can all keep learning.
I am debating whether to get the system you have or just go with conventional plaster trap bucket. Usually how long do you use it until you have to clean it again ?
LOL! 3 weeks ago I made a temp crown front teeth 8&9. the only problem is the #8 was a bit off haha. I laughed myself cause I remember your short video...anyway finally at the end I remade another temp and it was perfect...thank you for always making a new video cause I learned some lessons from you. If you could make video for RCT that would really help for me...
@@DentalThings Hello! Thanks for the time to response about my suggestion for making RCT. Anyhow, if you could make a video in the future. Could you over the RCT procedure and what K-files, Rotary that usually using for Molar,Pre-Molars & Anteriors. I know every dentist have different style and I have had experience that already. I worked in the Dental emergencies teeth extraction, restorative and not only that but sometimes we have had RCT procedure.😁😃
Hello I have a 4 on 1 implants on the lower jaw . One of the cosmetic “tooth “pieces came off of the bridge part that holds it . I can’t find my dentist and don’t know what to buy to fix myself!
@@DentalThings but it was not that relaxed experience Everyone have different experiences My experience is like l think i can't breath but i can breath and i cannot feel my hand or leg I felt like A cream colourd screen covering my eye and my mind is speaking, it says its a dream but suddenly I remember everything and got into my sense then i was crying because of the pain from shot then i felt tired and sleepy but i can hear everything that they say but their sound is like a cartoon character sound
Doctor, I had a tooth extracted with a tooth embedded in the gum between the front incisors. Is it painful to remove the stitches and if it is painful will I scream in pain or is it just a small sore? How many days will I need to remove the stitches? Please reply to my message. Thank you.❤️❤️
When they remove the stitches it shouldn't hurt, just feels weird. The dental people should be able to put some numbing jelly on your gums to help when they take it out.
@@FootballInmin Thanks for asking this... I just undergone wisdom tooth extraction and I have to comeback to the clinic in a few days to have the sutures removed. And thank you Doctor for replying and giving us the assurance that it wouldn't be painful.
I wouldn't trust your VISUAL INSPIRATION!!!🙄NO WAY!!! Why didn't you whipe the other 2 instrunts, or brush/wash them all first??? I'm sure there are micro-debris on them 🙄👀🦷 Are you just " sterilizing" the instruments AND the micro- debris ??!😳🤓👎
Very informative and detailed. I’ve been a dental assistant in Barbados for 3 months now and we use a similar system. This really helped me in terms of positioning and making the patients comfortable. Thank you🙌🏽🙌🏽
My dentist left a stitch in, and I want to know if a general surgeon can remove it? There was one stitch he left in, and instead of taking it out, he cut it short.
Is it black and looks like sewing thread? If it's been past a week then yes, anyone even yourself can remove it. If it is dissolvable, it may look tan and stiff, that should go away on its own.
@@daniie1762 perfect. I do have a video about XCP rings. Check out my other videos that I edit to help with learning dental things. I have digital and film videos.
@@DentalThings I know, but acoording to CDC, that can cause cross contamination. As blood-borne pathogens can form on the instruments and they could become unclean CDC also says all organic matter must be remove from the instrument before High Level Sterilization. Good Video and did help, just remeber to swtich gloves.
The whole canine shouldn't be in the bite wing film, at most just the distal 1/4th of it if your trying. Main piece to get further forward past the premolar is to pivot the front of the sensor only to the midline of the lowers when setting it and follow that pivot with your xray tube.
I had my tooth extraction and my stitches four days ago. Does my stitches will just take off by her own or should I go my dentist or I'll be the one who gonna take this off?
Depends on what material they used. If the stitches is black in color, then that's silk and will be removed by the dentist office. If the stitches are like tan/light brown, it may be a dissolvable stitch and they comes apart at like 5/6 days.
Wow, absolutely blown back to get some big dental youtube eyeballs. I'm glad you found some fun in my work as I've found laughs in yours. Thank you Steve.
Hi mine has slightly untucked but it isn't rubbing against anything and not causing me any issues. Do I need to get it tucked back or can I leave it? I noticed you said its tucked just for patient comfort.
