Done it on my Ducati 996 and my Superformance AC Cobra MKIII and they are both fun , in the tight stuff I give the car the advantage but long stretches the bike gets the edge ! Power to weight vs power and traction to the road surface , imagine a formula I car that has both !
It's also good form to not publicly criticize someone who isn't intentionally being rude to you. Guy doesn't even know you're there. Say excuse me with a horn just like you'd say excuse me on the sidewalk when you walk faster.
I have an issue with mine.. Fixed it at a workshop 2 days ago and everything was fine, after i drove out of the workshop, the higher tone just stopped working but the lower tone was fine.. After that, i went back to the workshop to get a replacement and now the 2nd one starts losing the higher tone as well!!! What have i done wrong?
@Itsmyopinionpal Seems like the bike is only quicker on the straight stretches - but then when you think how little rubber is keeping you in contact with the ground compared to those fat wheels on the Cobra...
Eh...you think that's impressive? With the actual 427 and double webers, the bike would be in the chase, and struggle to keep the car in view of the camera
Why is the CD player on the opposite side of the car??? o wait you don't need a CD player, the engine is your music and the pedal is your volume control
Bikes don't corner fast. Very little contact patch avail. The bikes advantage is acceleration only, compared to a car (power to weight).....straight line braking may go to the bike also, but how often is a bike upright and braking. A lightweight and high-powered car, with a descent driver should rule the twisties..... Gotta choose your battles wisely and know your vehicles limitations.
@freeclimb64 in New Zealand theres usually not much time between speeding up and slowing down, as you can see and hear... we have alot of very difficult and windy roads. also at 1:19 you can hear that he did change up but then had to change down again almost straight away. This road is a simple one relatively speaking - no ultra narrow gorge road with 10k limited corners. if it was closed off he could have had some real fun - maybe even hit peak revs....
great video in a great country,Im staunchly proud to be a kiwi, yea its an expensive country but too bad. You've had some good comments and unfortunately, the know it alls have an opinion also. Thanks for posting this vid
What a great video! I miss the roads in NZ, there are deffinately none like them here in Denmark, i miss the rimutakas especially near Wellington, top bike road that one.
