Our lawyer didn't get that much. Dad had zero estate plan. No will. He also didn't get no 15 percent. He simply charged by the hour and we didn't have him do very much.

If you are on an account as beneficiary, all you need is an id and social security number. The beneficiary on the account supercedes a will. You can just ask for a check to be issued for the full amount in your name and close the account. You don't need to open another account as the beneficiary.

Humans are going to human especially during a time where all plans and logic meet pure emotional distress, you must have some patience and factor in that people dont prioritise plans for unforeseen events, especially health declines, the cost of prioritising Wills or financials etc can be prohibitive to current life, the average person may need to plan a Will but cant afford to do so with this months rent or bills etc, if they sort this out I cant get a takeout this month or my kids new shoes, dont be that guy who puts others down for being human.

You feel like you've just tricked everyone into thinking you're qualified, and one day they'll all find out you've been lying to them. It can happen to everyone, artists, musicians, entrepreneurs, even people just working a "normal" 9 to 5.
