Hi does your santize cyle on the dryer try to run for 3 plus hours? I want to use it but hesitant because i dont want to burn my clothing inside it kinda scares me. At 45 minutes the clothes are dry this was towels and some shirts and 1 set of light denim jeans. Do my question is have you used this setting? Any issues? Or is it fine to really let it go the full 3 plus hours.
I never used it. I think 3 hours is excessive. Maybe if you had mites or bedbugs (or work as a medical professional in a highly contagious environment…) it would be worth trying.

I thought normal would be less than an hour, its one hour 20 minutes. Wondering and hoping it shuts off automatically because NONE of the GE literature shares such info.
I found that mold was the problem. It was preventing the water from totally siphoning out of that area. I took the blue top off and the blue bottom off and totally cleaned it and now it works like it should. I was really surprised by how much mold had built up on the bottom peace.

Sometimes the mechanism sticks. Try opening the slats horizontally so you can see out. Try pulling down an inch and up an inch each day to loosen the gears. Hope that helps!
Hello have you had an issue whereby you turn on your washer, chose which washing option you want, and start…. But it skips the “fill” Option and goes straight to wash? Help!

The handrail is made of rope? The Dawn Powerwash is an excellent cleaner… you could try it. I might use a fabric or rug cleaner like OxyClean or Folex.
