@@jeevesdrones exactly & for reframing. Most social media platforms upload at 1080 30fps so recording in 4K in 4:3 you’d get roughly 2.7k once converted and resized / reframed.
@@cuve_ae That makes sense for social reels. that are 9:16 But for websites and wide video it still needs to be manually cropped down to 16:9. Not sure if I understand why you are recommending this on a wide format video. Open to your feedback. Thanks!
Great video and control. Why use ultra wide setting instead of wide? The vertical lines on the corners of the lens get distorted. With wide setting they will look straight
The town has ruined many pristine areas through reckless development. There used to be a beautiful meadow to the right as you first enter the town; an elk crossing area. Now filled with condos. Growth needs to be limited to Protect wildlife.
This is an apartment complex that has a great cause behind it. The thing I like about this particular complex is that it is restricted for use of residents of the town. No out of towners are able to occupy it. So, while it isn't helping protect wildlife, it is not being used as a second home or for Airbnbs. There is a lack of housing for locals and this complex is helping satisfy that need for people who need it. Thanks for the comment! Let us know if you have any questions.
Hi guys, I have a question regarding my DJI Avata. I’m trying to use 4K at 60 fps with the ultra wide lens and HorizonSteady, but it seems like these settings are not compatible. Does anyone know why the DJI Avata restricts certain stabilization modes with specific resolutions and lenses? Is there any way to bypass these limitations or any recommended solutions? Additionally, what would be the best settings you would recommend for filming interiors of real estate properties? Any tips for achieving the best quality footage indoors? Thanks for your help!
Hi there, glad to hear you are using the DJI Avata. I'd like to help but I don't quite understand what it is that you're asking. Are you wanting to enable gyro so you can stabilize in post editing? If so, turn off HorizonSteady.
Is this with the avata 2? Does it replace something like an air 3? I also do real estate fly throughs, currently with traditional fpv cinewhoops and equipment, and want something more controlled and the ability to emergency stop for peace of mind. Do you have experience flying manual on fpv cinewhoops?
We have folks who use manual fpv drones, but I personally use Avata. I don't want to hustle with all the additional things to think about when I'm doing real estate. I just want to get the shot.
Really good video ! Thank for sharing ! I'm based in France an di want to do this kind of indoor real estate tour. I have DJI Avata, I noticed you use the Axis Flying Kit, do you still pilot it in Normal Mode with RC2 or only in Manual ? Thank you
Bonjour! For this video we used a customized Avata with upgraded motors and larger props flying in standard mode. I personally do not like using the Avata in manual mode for indoor real estate videos. We use the DJI FPV controller to operate the drone most of the time. Some of our pilots have custom drones and prefer to fly in manual using other non DJI equipment. I hope this helps! Best of luck.
Thank you for your feedback and your complete explanations. I asked because I am thinking about create my own and the way to learn flying in Manual mode looks sure but long (too hard). Knowing that you are using the DJI Avata in standard mode for real estate videos motivates me because I can do it and practice also manual flight on the simulator. I understand why the kit is installed if you have versatile drivers. @jeevesdrones
Not sure where you can fly commercially without vlos. Illegal to fly commercially with those goggles even with an observer. I say commercially because it looks like you’re advertising your drone business here. Hopefully no FAA decision makers will see this video!
Thanks for your concern, Andy. We used a visual observer for this flight and had permission from the local police, reported our flight to the FAA, and had our certifications on us at all times. If you have any questions about our safety and legal methods please contact us at info@jeevesdrones.com.
We have been wondering for weeks what the fleets of drones with the green and red flashing lights are and then we passed your house. I'm guessing that's you. Neat endeavor.
