Thank you for listening and commenting! I'm afraid that I would not know how to determine the grade of this piece, and I do hope you will enjoying learning and performing it. Yours, Jeffrey
Your video is very beautiful. I like it a lot. I have been trying to talk to you for a long time. I am waiting for your response. Please give me a chance to talk to you..,.
I wish I could help you to find, but I don't know how, unfortunately. But, thank you for listening, and I feel sure that you'll find a copy in time. Yours, Jeffrey
Hello. I found a recital program dated 3/30/1941 from Budapest that featured a young Nádor György playing the Franck Violin Sonata. I'm trying to find information about him and searching for his name led me to your video. Kurtág would have been in the same circle of friends. Do you know anything about this Nádor György?
Nádor was a professor of piano at the Franz Liszt Academy for many years. I believe he has retired, but I imagine you could contact him via the Academy in Liszt ter in Budapest. Yours, Jeffrey
So nice to hear from you, and to be able to thank you for this excellent transcription, enabling us pianists to enjoy Schmidt's soaring melodies at the keyboard! Bestwishes, Jeffrey
How nice to hear from you! I'm most glad that happy memories of your grandfather were stirred. By the way, I donated the score of this music to Syracuse University where he taught. Yours, Jeffrey
Many inaccuracies, sadly. Some wrong notes, ignoring almost all of the dynamics, and bad counting. You drop a beat in bar 14 (the left hand enters off of beat three, not beat two.) A beat is dropped (it's not a 3/4 bar...) and the left hand is an 8th late in bar 18. And what happened with the passage beginning in bar 25??? Lots of rests are totally ignored...I sincerely hope you're not teaching. You may want to revisit the notes.
Your video is very good. I like it a lot. I have been trying to talk to you for a long time. I am waiting for your response. Please give me a chance to talk to you.👍💚💚
Water lilys are my favorite flowers. When I was younger, my dad would take me out onto the lake, and when we rowed past them, he'd always pick one and put it in my hair.
Mister Jeffrey, you're not just a pianist, but you're a musician, who doesn't just play this Pieces on piano, but interprate the Music! Thank you! And because my English is poor to express all my thoughts on your interpretation, I'll continue in my native language.
I was so very touched by your comments, including those in the Armenian language, which I had translated by the magic of internet. I certainly appreciate your compliment, and I return it in this sense; that you must be a very sensitive and educated listener, which is in an of itself is a great talent. Yours, Jeffrey
