I like how you didn't replace existing shear or address that when the joist changed you didn't support that section or 2nd floor wall. Yall know enough to be dangerous. Comical that you're worried about crowning temp wall studs. Couldn't finish this video 😂
Question, at your 44 second mark in the video, your 2nd stud is that exactly 16” from the edge of stud #1 or the center of stud #1? And is that 2nd stud subtraction of the 3/4” then marking every 16”? Thanks for your help
Great video my man, and totally informative and easy to understand. I'm actually installing a pair of french doors in a wall in my house to expand a room, and the framing process in your video was exactly what I was looking for. Now my plan is formulated and time to go to work. Thanks again!
You are all awesome. Thank you for sharing. I wanted to open up my kitchen now that my house was on fire and intended to repair my kitchen myself. Im your new subscriber.
excelente video solamente que me gustaria que estuviera en español veo que explicas bien pero esta en ingles. Videos como este no se encuentran en youtube
Mate! You've saved me. 😄 I've been waiting for some help from my son. I'm old and tired but your instructions are wonderful. The best info of all time was how to find the bottom of the door! I'm working step by step with you and it's all making sense. If this old girl can do it anyone can. You do need some basic skills but I'm feeling really confident now. Thank you! 😏👍💜
I thought about building a little ADU and the measuring and process would be easy but I don't think I could do all that bending over, and have no help. :(
