This app is a piece of shit. I can't register because it just spins when I hit "Create New Account" What a rip off!!! Spinning circle of death for 10 minutes and counting!!!
Why is ur advise different from others. Eg,: it’s suppose to 0min but said otherwise n several ‘facts’ were incorrect. Owner is useless if everything is dependent on contractor 😢😂
Great question. No. A 20 amp 240 volt circuit can handle a load of 80% so up to 3840 watts can be put on this circuit or 1920 at 120 volt, where watts = amps x volts.
Yeah, cheap. After you buy 21 solar panels, and all the gear behind that........then its cheap. In Europe onthinkable. With our prices these days its cheaper to burn youre workshop for the heat and build a new one.
I'm noticing on temperature correction if I set it to lower by 5 degrees for example, it only goes down 1. I'm having an issue where my AC just keeps running non stop after installing this. It will never reach the temp I set and the house is freezing. I have a feeling the temp that's displayed on screen is way off.
Are these heaters 110 or 220 Volt ? What has this done to your electric bill? I know when I run even one electric heater in my house, the electric bill goes up about 30 or $40 per month. That's just with one electric heater running occasionally
Our heaters can be customized to any voltage, and because of the efficiency of infrared vs. traditional forced air heating, the energy costs are significantly lower. Thanks for the question! -HG Team
Our heaters have been installed all over the world, including the great lakes region, and even colder areas than that. Infrared works in every application!! -HG Team
Full pictures of every side of the heater is available on our website, heatinggreen.com/product/solaray-d-infrared-heater-drop-ceilings/ Thanks for your comment, -HG Team
You make fantastic products! I have 4 on them running very reliably. One thing that would be nice is a text alert push instead of or in addition to an email. That is my only criticism.
I thought on the website it said they were 240v powered. To me i was expecting a huge NEMA plug like in a dryer, but it looks like it must've been a 12g wire ran to two separate circuits back at the panel? I really love the idea of this kind of heating and want to know more about the actual install specifications. Anyone thats been around an infrared heater knows how well they work.
Great question! We actually have a great blog post explaining that. Linked here: heatinggreen.com/infrared-heating-tips-and-practices-yoga-studios/ Thanks! -HG Team
I think the hat is his fashion choice lol! Thanks for looking, feel free to reach out if you have any questions about infrared. Thanks for commenting!! -HG Team
IR heaters come in a variety of sizes and wattage the worry for me would be if i under powered the panel heaters and did not heat the room sufficiently or over powered the panel heaters and wasted money, i'm curious how you worked out the power rating for each room like is there is a standardized power of watts per m2/ft2 to achieve effective heating for IR panels?

This is no help. My ex wife had an account set up and now that she's gone I'm trying to register the ecobee but I don't have a registration option. What do I do
Hi Boulos, Sorry to hear about your divorce. I would recommend reaching out to Ecobee Support directly so they can best answer this question about their product. If you have any questions about how best to run your infrared heating system we will be happy to help! -HG Team
I thought these things heated surfaces not space. What does the thermostat measure as air temperature won't be the same as the perceived temperature will it? Is there a central control panel / app option rather than having to set each thermostat manually?
Hey Dave, Great questions! Infrared heats the mass in the room which in turns heat the air. It is a nominal difference between the temperature of the mass in the room and the air temperature. If you want to check the accuracy we recommend using a infrared laser thermometer to measure the temperature of the mass in the room around you versus the air temperature. Ecobees and Mysa thermostats are smart thermostats that have app options to be controlled remotely. Also most thermostats can be scheduled! Please feel free to reach out with any more questions. Thanks, -Hg Team
