Hello everyone. My name is Kaz and this is my channel. Used to make meme-centric gaming videos, but I try and expand now to more discussion/gaming subject videos, kinda like mini-essays to other types of gaming content with time. Welcome and enjoy your stay.
Im happy to hear you enjoy my videos. Im currently working on the next video but the heatwave makes everything harder. Regardless im working on my videos at a steady pace so stay tuned.
Yea dude, I love it. Got to the underwater lvl and its really trippy how the camera works now. Im slowly realizing how little I actually shown in the video 😅
I was such a hardcore Spider-Man fan back then, as there was nothing else like it at the time, from the camerawork to the epic superhero fighting to the music, and I religiously watched the trailer for the game over and over again until it came out. I played this before the Gamecube version...and when I didn't get what was in the trailer for the game I didn't understand, but chalked it up to version difference, like how the GBA version was different too. I had no idea this was an Unreal 2 mod, but it makes so much sense now holy crap. It's the first bad game I can remember playing, but...I still love it. I love it for its cheesiness, I love it for how broken and clunky it is, I love it for how alien and fake the worldspaces are, I love it for the Mysterio levels, I love it for the Puma construction level, I love it for its useless collectibles and mini games, for weird things like "The Roman Nose Building" or the Camel's ripoff billboard. It's very much a product of its time but it still managed to give off a feeling no other game did. Even when I did play the far superior GameCube version, there were elements I would look back to the PC version and miss not being in the GameCube version, and that's just insane but it's true. It's a bad game, but I love it. I try to do a yearly playthrough of it because I can beat it in a day because I still love it.
I used to be able to beat it in a day as well since i also played the heck out of it, since there was bo other game like that before. Tnx for watching and for telling yiur story dude. As bad as the game is, it still sits proudly in my collection.
Are atuurile lui cum e el.
Haven't played it personally yet, but i don't see why not. Id say it is only because the way traversal works in it allows you to reach places. Can't really say much since as i said, haven't played it yet
I 100% can suggest Titanfall 2 as a game you should check out. You don’t need to play the first title. Single player is generally accepted as being pretty good. Multiplayer has a HUGE learning curve though, so don’t feel bad if your first few matches are a bit rough.
@@arandomkaz Couldn't tell you since I haven't been on in a while. I know Titanfall 2 recently saw a boost in numbers because Apex Legends players started giving it a try. Seems to have a population of around 2000-3000 at peaks according to steamdb
i think the fear element is due to the inevitability of death when you fall. its not instant like in a souls games. you watch yourself fall for a good several seconds, before you hit the ground, powerless to do anything. there is also the innate nature of falling. getting shot at or struck by a sword is pretty foreign to most people, but everyone has at one time or another taken a hard fall and so can relate to the idea.
i did mention that briefly and I'm sorry i didn't take more time to discuss that but yes, you are right. When you fall, you are literally powerless to do anything and have to just wait for hit to happen. Scary to think how that would feel in real life... knowing your death is inevitable and your mind processing at a million miles an hour, prob have a panic attack in the process... scary stuff. Thank you for watching dude, really appreciate the comment.
Whoa this is a really nice video. Keep it up, and you'll earn a lot of subs bro Special respect for not asking for likes and subscribing. That shi is annoying af.
Thank you dude, glad you enjoyed it and thank you for the kind words. In regards to asking for likes and such, i tend to not do it without at least making it make sense, my logic is that i just make a good video people will come with time.
Mirror's edge's real challenge is to become Faith , yes , become the faith you see in the cutscenes and during the intro parkour sequence. And to do that , you will need to spend countless hours honing your skills in the Challenge Maps. And what's a better challenge than beating yourself at the game again and again (the ghost mechanic in Time Run) ? Seriously , if you get all the 3 stars in all of the time run maps , no matter how long it takes you , you"ll eventually turn into Faith and start to think like her. Because players on their first run of this game see Mirror's Edge's world much more simply than Faith's Parkour conscience does , they don't see opportunities or hacks that Faith canonically sees. But when you master movement , understand what works the best and how to build momentum and keep that throughout your room , you will start to see everything clearly.
Tnx dude. Really appreciate the kind words. Still trying to experiment with this format and improve it but the core idea is the same. I do want to keep.that balance of humour and info to a degree. More will come soon, hope you like Mirror's Edge ;)
yo. i`ve been playing this game since i was maybe 5 y.o or something. and i liked this game a lot when i was a kid and man... believe me i played the console version after PC ver. and daaamn. Maybe the web slinging in console version is much cooler, fights and etc but in my honest opinion (how stupid it can sounds) the PC version looks much better some levels really interesting (like Misterio levels). Maybe models of people looks like ass but the other design of characters looks better than console version. Of course console verson is great but PC is my childhood. btw nice video. subbed.
It doesn't sound stupid at all. Used to be my fav game as well back in the day but it aged really poorly (and playing it again reaffirmed that belief) the ps2 version just gave me more game and thats why i like it more. Tnx for watching dude 😎
I'ts been a while since i've done it, but if you look up Undefeated Shaggy Mod you should be able to find a Steam Forum page that shows you how to install it. But it might not work anymore due to patches.
It used to be my favorite game because it was the only Spider-Man game I had. I completed all the missions in this game on August 2, 2015. Those were the days. Maybe someone says this game sucks, but it was everything to me at that time.
I feel you since it was the same for me, but it aged really poorly. It was kinda enjoyable to revisit ngl but i will prob just keep it in my collection for what it was, not what it is. Thank you for watching the video, and tnx for the comment, really appreciate it
The intro cutscene is ripped straight from the console version. I played the PC version as a kid (mainly for the Mysterio levels) and just in 2022 I played the OG Xbox version, that's when I had an epiphany
I could never get past the part where you broke in some sort of warehouse (as Bruce banner) and had to avoid I think big dogs and also guards. This game made me so mad cause that was at the time when I was a kid (idk like around 10) and I was a huge hulk fan
dude that part took a good couple of tries for me as well... you kinda have to use the small boxes that make kinda like a room and block the entrances with the push-able boxes... and at the end when the dogs are awake you kinda need to just sneak in the same box area and then just gun it to the train.
Excellent video. I love the authentic passion you have and that you didn't rehearse and edit the video to death to be "perfect." Everything felt genuine and relatable. Thank you too for reminding me that this gem of a game exists; 80's/90's anime in general is amazing but GITS has always been a standout for me with its atmosphere, characters, & world building.
Im really happy you enjoyed it. Since I rediscovered this game (and eventually got a copy) its been one of my treasured possesions. Love the game and the entire francise as a whole
I adore this game; its among the best shooters for me, alongside Medal of Honor 1 & 2 on the PS1. Back then, as a Spanish speaker with very little understanding of english or japanese, I struggled to connect the game to the movie. However fluidity of movement across walls and roofs & the weponry at your disposal was simply incredible.
Its simplicity is probably its biggest strength besides the cutscenes. And yea if you didn't know about the manga you would be easy to try and associate it to the movie since they are called the exact same name. I also grew up with Medal of Honor 1 and 2. My dad used to play in my room and i would fall asleep to the sounds of tanks and gunshots (and the style of music that was used at the time)
Never had blockbuster here, but we had rental stores, only back then piracy was pretty big and a lot of the gaming was done like that. Nowadays im trying to buy a lot of those games i didn't own.
Good video. GitS on PSX needs some love. The jumping section in last level is hardcore. I died so many times and used all remaining continues. About Emolution: I'm sure you dumped PSX bios files yourself. And you never violated any EULA. ;-)
The first time i played i died there like 20 times at least cuz i didn't know where to go after the 3rd platform. As for emulation, i do rip all my games from my actual disks whenever possible (some games are very expensive and impossible to play so in those cases I can't do much) but i do keep my functioning PS2 around for games that don't emulate nicely, tho very few.
GITS on PSX was an ok game. You pretty much strafe all day and shoot stuff. The animated intro on the other hand had great 3D and 2D animation plus a really cool techno soundtrack
@@arandomkaz The cutscenes are what sold the game to me lol But yeah, I was a huge GITS fan back in the day, had to own anything that involved it, this game included.
This is a little experiment, going out of my comfort zone and trying out a new format. There where still a lot of things that I did not cover about the game, that I wish I did, but overall im really happy with it. Will probably revisit this once im a bit more comfy with this type of video.
