I didnt realize, and i am sure no one here watched but i think the writers of passions in ways wanted theresa to be a Tina. She took over Crane mansion for a time and couldnt stand andrea evans character of Rebecca and imo rightfully so. Idk the story going on here but i like Tina over all from all the clips I've seen.
Megan's death at the window is reminiscent of Sarah Karr's death in husband Mike's arms in the early 1960s. She died in his arms at the window and legend says dinner was late that night across the country. Viewers were devastated then. Now this... this devastated me.
Robin Strasser is a phenomenal actress. The way she plays Dorian in these scenes is perfect. You can tell what she's trying to do, but Nicki can't. And it's believable that Nicki can't.
This storyline sucked!1989 was a dreadful year for OLTL.Every storyline during this year was awful.Gabrielle baby switch, Crown Jewels Of Mendora, Llana Flag storyline, Austin/Sarah rape storyline, Megan/Ruby Bright storyline and the worst of the bunch,Eterna were all pathetic.The show won a best writing emmy for the year 1986.It's pathetic that the writers let the show degenerate into this crap.
The most far-fetched thing about this story was that its existence could be kept secret for so long in a small town. The faux Bo storyline was much more scientifically far-fetched.
I remember watching this in Kindergarten. My mom was shocked when there was a new Tina. She wasn’t the original but was really good. Andrea was best but Karen was a bit of a 10. 👍🥵
DID isn't inherited. Children develop DID because of severe childhood abuse and neglect. So, why did Megan have DID? Both Viki and Jessica were sexually abused.
Im glad megan was unhappy about sloan. Im so bothered by mrs claus tina is calling cain cjs daddy & cain grandpa to cords grandson. Also cj & al are less than a year younger than jesse yet they are little 6 year olds & jessica is 12 ! I guess this is the start of wacko marty spreading her lies about andrew being a pedo. Malone every yeat for 4 years had some dark sexual predator story. This one a lie than they punished marty by having her gang raped. 94 the serial rapist was powell who failed as a romantic lead who did a month for gang rape perjury while todd & zack got 8 yrs. Yes todd got paroled b/c they wanted to redeem him when rh won the Emmy. In 95 they really went there w/ victor being an incestous pedo. Early 96 they just finally piled it on that victor had kiddie porn of viki & other kids. Thus dorians hatred of him & this pushed viki to remember tori did it. Oltl was dark & i recall fans were tired of it by powells end & marty & todd finally hsving closure where he finally apologized cried she toucjed his scar & said " goodbye" seemed they finally moved on until lunatic malone wanted to pair them! Ty rh for quitting when malone made todd a hero & havng him.& marty act like bffs . She called him her friend !! Oh how megan cord tina were missed seeing this. Karen did a good job but the next tina awful & then no tina lord even recsst as andrea couldnt return from hiding
Ok was how old in tina supposed to be ?? Im horrified cords grandson little cordero in this calls that awful con man who left no mark on the show grandpa!! I know john l decided to leave oltl in late 91 i think gottlieb & malone were just starting b/c i know blair was w/ cord there marty just started as a lupus patient megan met i know malone created blair & marty. I know john was one of the vocal actors that did not like linda & felt malone was not right as a writer. He was brilliant at times & thought linda did great at post production. Malone also here is starting his almost 4 year obession w/ always having a sexual predator story.

General sloan tried to help cord glad he told him to shove it b/c if how he moved in on clints long term marriage & hurt his siblings. Poor cord i dont recall if he was told megan died ! They were step siblings & close friends. He & tina were in megans wedding party megan in theirs. I hated cain & sloan so much i was glad asa went off on them at least about their choice in men. At least tina thought cord was dead but staying w/ cain marrying after she found out what a con man he was ugh. Sloan was just disgust. Bigotted snob who was obsessed w/ viki llainfair victor & taking dorian out for exposing him & viki 's ore meditated adultery while everyone blamed dorian ! Viki called her an aging whore. Anyway cord & tina should have made it after the 3rd marriage & 2 kids. The next tina was a aurheaded bimbo who was bad comedy relief. Omg theirs the last child actors that played cj & al. Both stayed in their roles until 96 & 97 resoectively. Too bad we never saw cj ever again we got 2 bad sarah recasts. " flash" who priest joey i think wanted um thats ur cousin. Then blonde sarah returned recall nothing as it was all bukes so any male her age was related to her or later would be so the usual got thrown at a buke girl cristian. Well they had no clue what to do w/ all the kevins joeys duke sarah jessica who had d.i.d & was a plumped up barbie doll tess bess wes !! Al another child born on the show no clue. Starr became another pregnant teen who was sweet valley high. Her having todd & martys grandchild omg writers enough of the todd marty shoving. That should ended in like 95 or 97 the latest when susan left saying todd was a curse. Al came back crazy after bimbo jen faking paralysis then weirdly going for marcie then they killed him off before gabrielle also had a horrible death. So at least cj was never ruined. Lastly ill never get why gnatalie was needed ! A obvious rip off of tina lord. Red hair big blue etes skimpy clothes long lost lord & to boot oddly married creepy old mitch who she knew was a kidnapper murdererer rapist. Think in no way was andrea replaceable.
What a story. I get viki refusing to leave in denial bo was actually more scary who stole drews body from the morgue & kept in the buke lodge for days ! Beckylee his mom got him to finally let them take drews body. It was sad b/c bo had so mucu guilt as he just let drew go. Drew had to find him as a young man. Viki at least didnt know.
Love how max & asa immediately got into it hard w/ the clapping they def knew her. I get jake just sorta tapping his leg this was his wife who was never going to see again.
This is horrifying how megan was only 28 never had kids w/ her husband jake & desperately wanted to play theater roles. Its so so sad. Oltl i know gottlieb gets a lot of flack but this storyline was so sad & brilliant. Esp using sherherazad the classic story of a man who was to be killed by some prince & told such great stories he stayed alive as long as he kept telling them. So brilliant b/c
I agree with travisjames3617. I saw OLTL the first day it ever aired in 1968. It was and is Joe and Viki forever. Tina will always be Tina Clayton and no amount of storyline rewrite will ever make Viki her father's murderer. It is a known fact Dorian killed Victor. But 2 of my favorite characters were wayward Cathy Craig and Matthew Buchanan. Two wonderfully mixed up but people.
Poor Viki, she only found out about Megan being her daughter 3 years ago, and to lose her so soon when they had finally gotten to know and love each other. Truly sad. It makes you hate Viki's father for depriving his daughter of her own child for his own selfish reasons.
Yea they made Victor post death more & more a monster. Before they wrote the horrible abuse story in 95 I was shocked after her blow out w/ Dorian in the crypt she sobbed how much she loved & missed him & swore retribution against Dorian for killing him. Ok in " heaven " in 87 fine she forgave him for Irene & having tina & not telling her. But by 94 when she was crazy over " father " did she forget he purposely had her turned into Nikki smith & had larry ( wasn't Meredith only like 11?? She married larry later how old was he if viki was 18 they appear the same age ) anyway how she made peace with him over taking her daughter away is so sick. Also why didn't Roger come tell viki. Victor died when megan was little & his wife carrie ( why isn't megans adopted mom all she knew for 25 years there ?? Recast the woman if she's busy )
