You guys are such an inspiration for us to travel and explore Australia. May I know during which exact dates you travelled to South Island for your 14 days trip ? The weather looks amazing and it's not crowded too, so interested in the time you visited ?
Thank you so much for following our NZ series and sharing this lovely comment 😊. We visited during our December holidays. The weather was great and we had a lot of fun. NZ is soo beautiful and you will definitely have a great time.
@@anir.swati Thank you for the response, it's surprising to see less number of people in the popular spots during the Christmas vacation period. Have you travelled during the beginning of December by any chance ?
Thanks for watching our outback series. When we travelled to whitecliffs from Wilcannia we took the opal Miners way. On the way back to broken Hill we took the dry lake road. This one is the unsealed road. Google maps will mostly show this road on the way to broken hill.
Ive been camping for over 40 years now but still remember beginning much like you guys, figuring out which gear works and replacing that which doesn't or ditching gear that remains unused. Good on you for getting out there !
Wow 40 years..that's amazing. You are so true ...finding new items for camping ... its so tempting to buy all the stuff. Thanks for connecting with us and sharing this comment 😊
Thank You for watching our outback series ☺️. 4WD is not mandatory but recommended if you are travelling on unsealed roads. If you will be on sealed roads then you are good. Avoid driving after sunset.
Just found your channel. Lovely and very informative. My husband and I got retired and started car camping. Too bad about many campgrounds being closed at the moment due to heavy rain. Anyway, could i know the brand name of your portable gas burner and the water tank with tap. Are they recommendable? Thank you and look forward to your next adventure.😄
Thank You soo much for connecting with us ☺️. We are glad you loved our content ❤️. The portable gas burner is "Ridge Ryder Butane Stove Single Burner" and the water tank is "Pro Quip Water Carry Can 22 Litre Green". Both items were bought from Supercheap Auto. You will also find a tap to go with the can. Both items are good and we have used 4-5 times now. However for the gas you will need a cover if the wind is strong. We are yet to buy one. Some stoves have this or you can buy a table that has this cover. Feel free to reach out if you have other queries. Happy Camping 🏕️
