Fantastico ! anche io adoro gli aerei ma mi sono fermato ai modelli in balsa e motore Glow hi ! mi iscrivo al canale !! grazie per il QSO da HB0, sicuramente si trattava di backskatter .. 73 Mario IK1LBL
I have about 30 hr in the K7, and about 100 in K8, I think the K7 is the best glider to learn how to fly. If you dont fly clean in turns you will hear it, you cant hear it in a modern gliders And the sound when you enter a strong thermal, WOW😍
I had to come back and watch this again because of the feeling I had with the pilot who said it’s your controls now and that is when life in a MD-500 was not going to last forever and that is my story
A Föhn is a type of dry, relatively warm, downslope wind that occurs in the lee of a mountain range. Föhn - the lottery win in gliding. Wave updrafts can reach into the stratosphere. Climb speeds of more than 15 m/s are reached, as usually only in thunderstorms, but without the dangerous turbulence. The greatest documented altitude ever reached by a glider is over 16,000 meters. The recognized world altitude record, on the other hand, is almost 15,000 meters.
The MD-500 which I’ve been in years ago brought back memories and I love to get back on the cyclic with my collective in my left managing my throttle and my feelings back on the pedals!!!!
Zen like. You're a lucky man. Flight sim captures the essence of this but the exquisite detail in this video are missing. Also I think the flight model into and at hover are off. They keep getting closer with each rev. I missed my chance in life to do this for a living. So I live vicariously in the VR headset and flightsim. But I admire guys like you. It's a beautiful thing you do.
@darioinfini - Sir, if you can - take a trial flying lesson and give yourself the chance to experience REAL heli flying. Flight Sims are good, but they will Never be able to truly replicate the real thing. You won't forget the flight.
@@paulward4268 I *HAVE* taken an intro flight and yes it was the fulfillment of a lifelong dream. But I'm being realistic here - - flying these things is not for the weak of finance. And I'm too old to be paid to do it commercially. So my only viable option is to sim. I deeply regret not going in this direction as a young man but I'm afraid it's too late now.
@@darioinfini I glad.to hear that you've done a flight. And I KNOW how expensive it is. - I gained my private licence in 1995, & was building hours for a UK instructors rating. But I eventually ran out of funds, and had to stop flying in 2004. i'm retired now, but I renewed my Private licence last year- It still costs a fortune, so I can only fly about twice a month. Not as much as I want to, but it's the best I can do. So believe me - I've had the disappointment, and I KNOW all about the cost.
@@dxhunter5277 Hello Sir!! Thanks again for posting your great flight in the fantastic Swiss mountains - do you still fly now? I'm on the south coast of the UK - haven't flown for ten years, and I just started my revalidation course two weeks ago!!
god awful company has no idea what they're doing. You're either in senior management, or you're a peasant who will want to leave or otherwise will be laid off because your talents are not recognized
The commander is a complete piece of art aircraft. It’s an aircraft to impress all Pilots. Every time a see one at the airport I have to stop an admirer a well thought master piece machinery. Even the older one are so impressive.
Ich freue mich euch auf dem Video vergnügt lachen zu hören - der Flieger ist wirklich an den richtigen Ort gekommen! Weiterhin viel Freude damit und herzliche Grüsse aus Bern, Alain
Hi Ralph,If the speed at which the panel lights flash is not the same as the frame rate of the camera, they will appear to flicker or roll in the video. They’re out of sync.
2011 saw me as part of the UN peace keeping force in Cyprus. Managed to blag 2 flights over the BZ in one of these but, as it was 40 degs + for most of the summer they flew without doors......👌🏻👌🏻
