Love this video. Good comments throughout, on what to do if doing at home. End result looked so hot. Will be going out soon to get my datk hair bleached.
I have coarse hair that lays flat and lifeless. A lot like some Italian hair and sometimes I see Indians with similar style. Its frustrating because I blow dry it and style it. Looks good with decent texture but then in an hour or so it's just laying flat with little to no texture and looks really dry. Looks A lot like Chris Messina (the Italian guy in The Mindy Project tv show). Also I notice that it doesnt seem to absorb product. It's like product just sits on the hair shaft?Any pointers?
My problem is. I’ve tried multiple barbershops and I showed them pictures of what I want and explained also. They always say, “I got you bro” and at the end they just do what they want, doesn’t look the same. I went to a unisex salon and one girl was able to give me an ok haircut on the top, very close to what I wanted and texture, but she didn’t know how to fade and no one in the salon knew how to do a low skin fade. Any recommendations in New York, Long Island.
@@skinnydee6719 no way inexperienced person can do a better cut than experienced barbers. Not even mentioning that cutting yourself is harder than cutting another person.
@@infiniteg7852 first of all it was just a suggestion. And a year old. Not something I’d suggest first anymore but it still stands that some people can’t find barbers that actually listen to what they want. So it happens. But each to their own. I still sometimes cut my hair and I always feel happier afterwards because I trusted myself with that despite the trial and errors. 💪
@@basedpatriotLT you can become experienced? 💀 yes it’s harder but Its still a great skill to have when nothing’s available like how it was in lockdown. Even my brother cuts his hair and it looks good. Just takes more time and depends on what style you’re doing.
@@skinnydee6719 how will you become more experienced than a barber? Lets take a barber with 5 years experience. Lets say they cut 1000 cuts a year. He has 5000 cuts experience. You will cut 2 times a month? In a year you will have 24 cuts and he will have 6000. Next year he will have 7000 cuts and you will have 48. You will never be as experienced as him. I understand you may cut better than worst of the barbers, but no way you will cut better than average barbers (not even mentioning the best)
@@basedpatriotLT I understand but still. Some barbers will do all that experience and still cut like shit. Zero TLC in their service. Trying to learn a skill is still better than relying on others and suffering in the meantime. And that just applies with everything really. I can do it so why can’t you?
