Im 70 and i have lived in some of the greatest years America has had in this era. Everything you use today was mostly invented in my lifetime. Advances in medicine is unbelievable. Space flight to well stocked food stores. Instant communications around the world, using this cheap tablet on youtube. We have a great future if we keep the same American values that got us here.
I'm 31 and I think you're wrong. I believe we can't stay stuck in the same kinds of thinking and dogmas just because. Artificial Intelligence, CRISPR, Nuclear fusion, and more technologies than I can even name or imagine are in front of us and these things have the potential to greatly alter our society. By necessity, I don't know how far these will go or when they will happen. AI is still in its infancy. But that is why I believe we need to embrace change and the future. Be open-minded to how these things will change us and be ready to change with them. That is what I'm most dearly looking forward to seeing.

@@chris2884 Majority of them happen at the very beginning when it isn't viable! Also it is a necessary evil as people will still do them even if they are banned! By making them legal we can make sure that they are safe! And if you don't like them then support proper education about reproduction and easy access to contraception! And if you want to ban them then make sure that families are properly supported that no baby goes neglected!
@@chris2884 There are plenty of unwanted children in the world already, why would it be moral to put even more iunwanted children nto the world? Especially since 25.000 people die of starvation every day, mostly in Africa and Asia. Given that we are already 8.1 billion people on the planet and that climate change will cause massive problems in the future, i actually believe that the moral thing to do is to not put unwanted children into a world that already has to many.
