That is amazing ! I do airbrush also and I did a mask with the 3 Hanson brothers from the movie slap shot I freeze framed the one scene when they were listening to the star spangled banner in the movie ! It took me forever and a lot of freehand with the faces what advice can you give when your doing portraits on the mask cause last time it was a night mare but with professional opinion is there something I’m missing to make it a little easier cause I have an order for Johnny cash comming in please help thank you so much Marc ( FUBAR AIRBRUSHING)
I know life is busy all the time but do you plan on posting part 2? Just askin i like how you work and trust you more than Anyone on youtube, you are such a professional.
I don’t think so. At the time that I was trying to be a “RU-vidr” these vids were a lot of work and weren’t really getting the traction I was hoping for. And yes now I’m just really busy. But I think in the future I may do a course like this that’s more in depth, like a masterclass that will be purchasable. This is probably how I will do it.
@@jboairbrush I understand ! You have such talent. I hope you find a way to make it profitable enough, I have 3 mask right now that need a theme and paint.. I have 1araï helmet, 1 sportmask Mage and a Bauer NME ONE, I keep having idea of what I want since like 20 years but never achieved anything, not sure what is wrong with me. yesterday night I drawed 5 hours straight until early in the morning and magic happened after years omg, I studied in visual arts 25 years ago and did nothing with it .. I just can't do it, I'm scared, I don't want to waste it..airbrushing is so compex I need you as a teacher so in the next 20 years I'm able to paint a project, I refuse to ride or play until I can achieve it lol 🙀 😂

I am looking into buying a helmet that comes with a matte finish from the factory but already having a matte helmet, i dont much care for the work it takes to maintain it. The new matte helmet has a beautiful design on it but I would want to spray it with either a gloss or clearcoat to make cleaning easier. I was told you need to scuff it (like in your video) but am worried about the painted design on the helmet already and if it would be ruined. The local shop said you use a very fine sand paper and barely remove anything but im still curious how that looks with black. Helmet is the Shark Spartan RS Xbot Carbon matte black (the gold one). Will the design be ok?
Just scuff with a grey scotchbrite. You don’t need to sand, sanding cuts, where scuffing just adds tooth, which will allow the paint to stick. I can’t say without seeing the mask but I imagine it has a matte protective coat and the scotchbrite won’t break thru the finish, where sandpaper may.
@@Yuuzhanvon I like LOTD and that's besides the point. Star Wars mixes space with fantasy, pretty weird and uninteresting, whereas Star Trek has science as a core element, that's what my bread and butter is, space and science. LOTD is pure fantasy. So by now you should be able to understand why I don't like Star Wars. Not saying that Star Wars isn't enjoyable to others, all the power to them if they do.
