Boston Rock / Talk is Boston's first and only web, TV and podcast series that highlights the biggest names in music as they come to play the city's venues.
In 2024 this is so interesting to listen to, with hindsight. As Kristin has continued to create music in all 3 of her 'guises' since 2015, I would love to hear her talk about how the songs are now composed and her relationship to them. A brilliant maverick artist.
If this was filmed at The Paradise, I saw them there in ‘92 at the WBCN Rock & Rumble. Some unknown kid on the way up way the guest MC (Lenny Kravitz) and Cracker (obviously not in the contest) was the headliner.
I'm so glad that she hasn't stopped doing music and kept on releasing music with her various projects. The quality and intensity of her music is in par with way more recognised artists. But maybe that way that unique blend of madness and melody stays so authentic and cathartic
Really like the Felice Brothers. Could have done without the political commentary. The interviewer bullied them into announcing their agreement with his politics. They’re still an up and coming band, they’re not Dylan or U2. Why make statements that might piss off some of your already work small fan base?
