I pulled up to a charging station at the mall and the receptacle wouldn’t fit. Why not make a Universal connector? So dumb

Was it a Tesla charging station or a level 3 fast charger? Other level 2 chargers use the same connector, Tesla chooses to use a different connector. Level 3 fast chargers charge speed is too high for plug-in hybrids so they make sure their connector won't fit and damage your hybrid battery.
