imagine if dmc6 comes out, where in the first half of the game we will play as Nero, and in the story, he, Lady, Trish and Morrison will work together in Dante’s office, hunting demons. Then in the second half of the game, Dante and Vergil finally faced off and work together. We will play as Dante and Vergil, and they will make their way together to get out of hell. Then, having got out, they come to the office, and in the end they all work together in this office and Vergil also became a demon hunter. And the ending will be the same as the secret ending in dmc4, where the whole squad leaves the office and says in unison: “Jackpot". Vergil silently cringes from this, and the credits roll.
In the beginning of the game, I hardly used Pepper Mac and Korsica as I was learning the controls. It really took me a while to actively use all their team up abilities dynamically in a fight, which in hindsight fits chai perfectly, after seeing him being so cynical over teamwork in the beginning of the game: he wants to do everything himself. Also a perfect and original personality trait to build a weakness around.
The best part of this music is that most of it is represented through guitar and drums, which matches with the pair's weapons (Chai's club always looking like a guitar and Korsica's stun batons resembling drumsticks).
Funny how the very first level of the game is, at the end, still my favorite regarding visuals and music. They made one heck of an entrance and I was HOOKED the second Chai shot up overlooking the campus. Amazing feeling, got chills!
Man, to think this game was made by a studio that made the evil within series. I definitely loved it. Great gameplay, awesome soundtrack, and lovable characters. It’s stupid that Microsoft shut down Tango gameworks for petty reasons. This game deserves a sequel.
Can I be honest with you all for a bit? I don't even care that this is obviously supposed to be the streamer mode version of Invaders Must Die, the lower-key melody makes this an absolute vibe for me, and I already listened to this while sleeping way more often than the licensed version.
