I still tow for a friend from time to time. If I were to think that this could happen, I would use a strap, use the seatbelt, or even some accident plastic. That stuff is stronger than you may think. I was behind them for about 3 miles before the door popped open, so it must have been at least partially latched
Used to drive a rollback for a car shop a long time ago. An old timer showed me that you can usually just pull the seatbelt all the way out and slide it over the top/bottom of the door frame and it will hold the door from flying open if it wont latch from a wreck.
i have 2012 honda civic with 5 speed auto with 172k. just did transmission fluid change. since i work at a honda dealership i get my fluids changed for free, i just pay the tech 20$ for each service.
Yea, I’m not waiting a month+ for something that I ordered to be delivered. No way! That’s why (or one of the main reasons) I’ve never ordered anything from Ali Express. I’ve been an Amazon Prime customer for well over a decade and almost never have any issues. The few times that I did, it was immediately resolved. So I trust them in that respect. For me, it’s worth paying the extra money for fast delivery and not having to worry about anything.
I would say 7/10 things come in about a week. But I just checked I paid $23.27 for the battery pack from AliExpress, a similar battery pack, but 10 less AH from Amazon is $127.99. These products I’m selling, won’t even be $120; so this is a rough go.
That starter sounds like it needs a shim. I will tell you why we like cold starts, well for one I grew up with this engine, and there’s nothing quite like the distinctive sound cranky 2.8 L 60° V6 on a cold morning, kind of like waking up a Highland Park hummingbird. Or a Ford modular. But I think the starter motor sound that will forever be ingrained in my head is the slow sound of a 1977 Pontiac Astra with the all new for 1977 Pontiac 2.5l Iron Duke engine. Cranking over on an extremely cold morning. I’ll never forget the sound. A cold start will never lie. Somebody should make some videos of what sounds the Delco Remi starter from GM sounds like. The Vortech engines had a unique starter sound, as did some of the G series, particularly for example, as a school bus chassis. I always enjoyed this boxy the styling of these trucks. What a cute little rolling sculpture of art.
The starter was replaced in a gas station parking lot after pushing out of the pumps. It worked and I was like, I’ll add the shims later….. well it’s been about 15 years and .. ummm lol
Had a deskpro en way back in the early 2000's and gave it up before we moved as I wasnt using it per se. Regretted ever since. Started a new job about 7 years ago and what did I find in a closet there? MY BABY IS BACK. Never giving it up again.

Ok, so I’m pushing it because for the last three weeks my bearing had been grinding, humming, now chirping. I have no clue on how to go about it so I’ve been watching some videos. Thank you for listing part numbers & showing what is needed!!! I was about to do it today now realizing that I needed the seal. I finding annoying that you go to buy something now & they don’t tell you what you need. So thank you so much from sparing me from having my truck all apart & finding out I needed seals on a holiday and having to wait until the next day with no truck. I did have some questions, I also purchased new rotors & pads. Does the new rotors come with the race installed or do I have to press them in & what size was that cotter pin?
I worked for AutoZone for 5 years. I used to work in a shop prior to that, I would so often have to stop one of my employees when selling wheel bearings and other stuff and explain why they need seals and stuff.
Ha ha, this video was EXACTLY what I needed to see in regards to getting the window unstuck in the wifey's van. The weather shield was completely cracked and rotted and it looks like debris accumulated and caused the motor to seize up.
@@TechTimeWithEric yeah my past 3 or 4 builds have been in these focus-G cases, I completely agree they are great value for the dollar, and aesthetically pleasing. I also used the focus G mini for some micro atx builds I did, I'm just sad that variant only comes in black! here is my current build using this exact red case though, let me know what you think! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-_YMC6nwcJAM.html
It’s funny the other day I was doing an oil change on both vehicles and Luke suggested that I do a video on it and I said “naaa I just want to get it done quickly before it rains”
Thank you I live in New Jersey. Both Nj and Delaware have almost completely banned you pull it yards. A lot of places will still let you if they know you; but I love these big yards in Maryland.
I love this. They've done away with all the 'junk yards' here in the UK. Oh and I'm re watching all your truck videos again as i've just bought my 1st truck, a 2014 Ford Ranger. 'Over here' they tend to have small diesel engines, mine's a 2.2 litre.
One of the trucks I saw there was an early mid 90s Chevy dually truck with a 454 V8. What’s funny is that giant L19 454 only made 230 horsepower and got 8-9 miles per gallon. Whereas now days you have 6 cylinders making twice the power with 10X the fuel economy
