My hair is mid back length and I'm READY TO SHOW IT OFF!!! 😭 Every time I try to straighten it it immediately puffs right back into a blowout afro state. What am I doing wrong??? 😡 Healthy hair loves to shrink back up
Hi doll, There are alot of factory that can lead to the immediate puffing back. Like the humidity, sweat etc. Have you tried like a holding spray maybe or an unti-freez hair serum after straightening your hair? Also try blowing out the hair first and then go in with a straightner oh and I wrap my hair after straightening it and as I do my makeup just to keep it silky 😉
My hair is about your length and is also 4c . I think thr conditioner you used didn’t add too much moisture because your shrinkage was not dramatic . When I condition and wash out … it’s like where did my hair go 😂. I also use the Lee stafford products in the blue as it’s for moisture and I use the dark pink scalp serum . I love ❤️❤️ love ❤️ the fragrance ! I Regarding the oils , I like how they are light weight and smell amazing! I also use the panetene kerotin oil . The Lee Stratford products make my hair smell and feel great! My hair doesn’t get dry like a bone as I add the light weight oils to the tips Off my hair every other day. These products work on 4c hair . I don’t use any ‘black hair products ‘ any more . I went I get corn rows done at a Nigerian hair salon in London . The lady decided to blow out my hair to straighten it a bit more and as she did that she says “ your hair smalls nice “ I’m like yeah .. I know 😉! Even my edges have recovered using the scalp.
