Good conditions for the demo on this. Im looking at this or jones something freeride, but not insane. I like to smash the icy chunder.qualities Stratus or FS or Frontier. Idk..
Great video… I’m 180lbs and just over 6’1” (82kg/187cm). What length should I get? I’m thinking the 181cm would be right, or is that too long? I will use them mainly as all-mountain with some off-piste and with some skiing switch/jumping around the sides of the piste/on-piste rollers etc. I’m Europe so we don’t get super deep pow. I’m a pretty hard charger on and off-piste
Hi. I’m trying to decide between these and a vokl blaze 94 as a 50/50 ski. Intermediate level so not gonna be charging on them. Will be paired with shift bindings
Do the mavens come in a TI version? I have maverick 95’s and I LOVE them. I was helping my friend find a ski as well and I thought her need for speed and aggression might put the C out of her wheelhouse. I’ve been leaning towards the Reliances because of the split metal in the front and her.. not brand new knees.
I dont like the sentiment that u can't shape a shot with a super forgiving driver like the TSR2. It definitely has a larger radius on the face for hitting straight shots, which it's designed to do, but i was out last sunday on the range shaping draws and fades no problem with it. I'm no pro either, it just takes practice
I want a 19 degree hybrid, primarily off the tee (as a driver complement) but also from the fairway. I love my Cobra Speedzone 5 hybrid, but need something longer. My handicap is 18-20 and my miss is left. Would you recommend a LTDx, an Aerojet (or perhaps another brand?).
I've always struggled with working the ball with baby cuts, fades, draws, slices, and/hooks if needed. I hit it straight as an arrow, lol. Yeah, that's good, but also, it hinders me when I want to work those dog legs if I don't think I can reach cutting the corner, etc. All of that being said, I ordered this driver without hitting it first (genius, I know). Did I make a mistake? Is this for players who are adept at carving up the course. I'm a 12 handicap.
Bought a 5 wood stiff flex today...love this club..when i really connect with it the sound is so clean and i feel like i cant even feel the ball hit the face
First time I’ve seen your reviews. Excellent. I live in Scotland. Looking for a change of clubs and some good deal on stealth irons now. Interested in your thoughts on the the stealth 2 had irons. Thanks.
I just bought one, I wouldn't say I'm advanced but apparently I am... I only took it on a testride but I'm gonna use my own board next week. I found it really good at carving, the terrain was really bumpy with solid ice at the centre, but I somehow didn't lose it. because it is really stiff it took me more power to do flattricks, however jumping felt really good. the only downside for me is that is was less forgiving so you should really watch out when it is busy, but because of that I was able to go faster than I ever went before. I'm really hyped and look forward to go for a ride.
I'm 60 years old and demoed this board at Breckenridge in late February. I am an advanced boarder and I loved it. It was fun watching the young people looking at me on the lift line being I am 60. When it came time to crank down the mountain I was pretty much blowing past most people. I did love this board and will look to buy a carving board by Ride next season.
I currently game a set of Mizuno Pro 225's and want something with a little more forgiveness (I hit the 225's pretty well overall), do you think this is a good compromise or do you think the JPX 923 Forged would be a more direct transition? Thanks!
Bought these skis as a beginner. 8 days on them they are very easy to ride and pretty forgiving. I am 5’6 and 130lbs and I picked up 160cm. Light powder and groomer they do them well. The system bindings are very easy to setup and they seem pretty secure and very little play once setup property with your boots.
I love the Cobra Aerojet 4 one length hybrid, i see the 3 and the 5 are on sale, I am kind of new what can i expect as results with either the 3 or the 5 and would you recommend one?
