Here on Western Michigan we have not had much of a winter, we didn't have any snow at all before the race, the day before we got a big dump of about 6 to 8 inch, just in time for the event. a couple days after, the temp. went up and everything melted. Not much of a hardship at all.

So - more is needed to know the hardship and or fun - I've been biking in Alaska in winter and tend to enter some big time races in winter - been in some very nasty cold 15 below and know you lst for an hour and one half before things get tough - so 24 degrees - not so much - tell me more.
