My channel is a mix of things past and present that u may or may not like music playlists 1970s 1980s 1990s plus other things that interest me . Mostley toyah willcox.
They are a lovely couple and lucky to have found each other. Sadly though my husband has his good points, he is not romantic and I am. He is also very controlling and at times I am stiffled. However, it always makes me happy to see such a beautiful, loving relationship for others❤❤
I don't think it's changed much. Many single girls get pregnant. Not all want to get a job. Those that do, struggle anyway to work and raise that child.
Enjoying Toyah on strictly come dancing. Hope she stays in for a while. She is a lovely and very clever, articulate too. Enjoyed hearing her love story. Xxxx❤
Hi Toyah, you're probably never going to see this - being some 10 yrs after the fact. BUt D'ya know what I thought was really rather fascinating about your story? It seems to me as if your 'rebellion ' as it was back then WASN'T so much directed at your upbringing & your parents, it seems it was directed against the sloppy, lazy, single parent 'astablishment' of an overly Liberal, nanny state Britain. The only reason I might have picked up on this is because I, being of similar age to yourself, felt the same way. It is quite possible that I had even stricter parents than did you, so MY REBELLION amounted to ... well:- shall we say;- owning a considerable quantity of your early records. Dressing in moderately conservative punk-liike gear, (though never opting for body tattoos, pearcings or anything that was likely to be PERMANENT). Getting a liking for the dark, low-end sound of Gary Numan... untill, eventually, I met a gregarious young woman, 8 yrs older than myself;- a well brought up, traditional lass who similarly had the rebellious spirit as did you and I , and afterwhich we all kind-of settled down. Believe it or not ... and perhaps kind-of surprisingly, I'm a man of God nowadays, along with my rebellious wife who these days similarly loves the Lord:- you just never know do you ❤❤❤❤
Lucky you and me were born in a time that didn’t insist you you were really a boy, gave you puberty blockers with high doses of testosterone, gave you a double mastectomy, dressed you up as a boy then patted themselves on the back for how courageous they were for turning you into a faux gender.
Fantastic saw the Magic Box one Saturday afternoon in 1976 on BBC 2 It was fascinating years later in January to be exact I came across a RU-vid site all about it and found out it was in colour ( we didn't have a colour TV till 1980 ) so I sent of for the Blue Ray even better it will never get boring it's a shame how he died penniless however never forgotten RIP to the Magician
