I'm a jr. Dev. Working with React, Node, NextJs, Typescript, Javascript. It's a dream to work in Berlin/Münich/Düsseldorf someday, after acquiring some more years of experience under my belt. Auch.. Jetzt, lerne ich die Deutsche Sprache.. Ein bisschen, aber, jeden Tag.. Ich bin Anfänger und die Sprache ist nicht Kinderleicht, aber.. Gib niemals auf!.. I'll contact you guys when I'm ready. Just a request - PLEASE BE MORE ACTIVE ON INSTAGRAM TOO! Dankeschön ✌🏻
Hi @SuperMuzaffar123 There is no demand for .NET developers now. There are many opportunities for JavaScript Developers but still there is a need to have at least 5 years of work experience if you apply from abroad. Hi I am from Bangladesh. Now staying in Germany. I came here in 2017 in Masters program in economics and I am not finished with my degree. Then I admitted into Ausbildung as Pflege Fachkräfte. And I failed to pass the course then I retake my exams and still I failed to pass the course second time too. I have B1 certificate, I have Einbürgerung certificate. I have Visa only 15 more days. Can I work in nursing sector still though I don’t have the degree and can I stay here in Germany with that contact. I passed in practical exam, oral exam. But in written exam I only pass one from three exams. What can I do in this situation?

Hi @elivankook9806 Applying for German-speaking jobs leads to having at least a B2/C1 level. That's for sure. We guide you through English-speaking open positions. We help you get a job as an English speaker. P.S. It is not a secret that there are more opportunities if you speak German. But still, it is possible to get a job in English only.
I have a bachelor’s degree in Business Chinese from China. But high school degree was Database programming vocational degree. Does that count for visa approval in Germany.
I have a bachelor’s degree in commerce (accounting and finance), but I’ve been working as a software developer for the past three years. Would my experience be enough to get a job in Germany or another European country, despite not having a degree in computer science?
Hi @ShravanKumar-t1v you’re on the right track here, but German companies generally require at least 5 years of relevant project experience before they consider hiring you from abroad. At least, that’s our experience and which is why it would be too premature for our program. We invite you to keep following us. Your time will come.

It would be better if you can share person contact on any social media, after taking permission from them, that would help us to get to know any other questions we have
Hi @Lokesh-kx9fz Please understand that we have a strict privacy policy, and it is not common to share any client's personal info in Germany. That means that we don't share any details of our clients online. This also helps us protect them from being possibly overloaded with hundreds of messages and requests per day, which has happened before. If you have any questions, you may ask them here.

Dear people, please do not rely on these and similar fairy tales about job security in Germany, especially when no references to law are provided. Regarding the tech industry, your workers' rights in Germany are similar to those in the US. Even after your probation period, you can easily get dismissed from work. The common reasons are: (1) your circumstances have changed (for instance, you got sick and had to go on sick leave), (2) your employer is unhappy with your performance (in practice, you as a non-German will have almost no chance winning in the court against a German employer; at best you may get a small severance package) (3) company restructuring (in practice, employers do fictional restructuring to render your position unnecessary). In practice, when compared to the US, all you get is a month or two of notice period. As opposed to the US, the severance packages are either non-existent or do not cover your monthly expenses, especially in big cities such as Munich and Berlin. Always keep in mind that Germans seek cheap workers and tend to heavily exploit their advantage over you when it comes to understanding German laws and regulations. Also, keep in mind that Germans often maliciously mistranslate their concept of "IT Fachkraft" as "IT Specialist". "Fachkraft" is much closer to what we call "qualified personnel" and is by no means similar to what we call a "specialist" in English. The German tech industry is underdeveloped relative to other European states such as The Netherlands and even Eastern European countries such as Poland. The demand for tech specialists is very low and this minimal amount of specialist positions are typically filled from big German universities such as TU Berlin and TU Munich. There is absolutely no shortage of IT specialists in Germany. There is a shortage of cheap labor and people who can be easily exploited due to a lack of knowledge of German laws and regulations.
Please if i graduated in engineering and have skills in product management(not core IT) Will i have to find a job in IT or in engineering? If i get a job outside what i studied will i be able to get a work permit?
Hi @dikejoshua3658 You need at least 5 years of relevant work experience in the domain you are applying for. Otherwise, it will be a challenge to get even one interview. Please pay attention to the fact that management, consulting and support will require you to speak German since you will work for a German company where you have to interact with Germans.
@FAJIGBerlin thank you, this is exactly my fear, I currently have 5 years experience in product support, but I graduated in engineering What are my chances in 1. Getting the visa approval 2. If I am unable to get a job in support, but get any other type of job will I be required to leave Germany because I couldn't get a job in my declared profession? This is the fear
