Hello, Regarding the interior paint: I was wondering if you could share what type of paint you used on your door panels/ trim and also how it has held up against scratches. Thank you for sharing this great video.
I own a 1997 Rialta, i bought it back in 2020 with only 80,500 miles, for $3,000 here in Yuma AZ. The first thing i did was put a transmission oil cooling system and changed the transmission oil. The main problem with the Rialtas is that their transmission breaks down quite often, because of the excessive heat and wear people put because of over loading and driving them with a heavy foot on the gas. Mine came with the corner full size bed, and a third seat, i took the third seat out and other things, like the a/c and installed a 12 volt mini split, a tankless electric water heater, the small fridge, and replaced it with a 12 volt fridge and freezer combo, took out the old wineguard tv antenna and replaced it with a Tesla starlink for mobile internet, the old generac electric generator i replaced it with a new portable generac electric 3,000 watt generator. Put three 200 watt solar panels and two 300 ah lithium lifepo4 batteries. I also replaced the carpet floor with wood floor.
I have a 98RC twin. Was looking for an instructional video on the awning. Mine has a carefree of Colorado Freedom II awning. I’m not sure how to put out/up the awning. 🤷♀️
Do you have a video on how you remove the two chairs I might be purchasing a rialta and I really don't like the two chairs it's a very old Rialto and I think it's going to need a lot of work but the two chairs have got to go I'm a female and I live by myself so any help would be grateful
No video is available. My fiancé helped me. There are 4 bolts (I think) on each chair. You will need to paint the bolt holes to prevent rust. I then patched the holes with fiberglass mesh. When you tear up old carpet, be prepared for quite a mess underneath. We had to scrape up the old foam and plywood ribs. Go on the Facebook Rialta Owners Group of America site. Search files for flooring. Good luck. You can do it!
I am not sure if this is an exact match, but this paint bonds nicely. I wiped down the doors with alcohol first. Rust-Oleum 249078-6PK Painter's Touch 2X Ultra Cover Spray Paint, 12 oz, Satin Granite
Yes, I'm working on it. I just learned how to ride a bicycle 22 months ago. Everything is new for me, so hopefully soon i can do it. I'll post an update.Thank you 😊
Hi Chris, The front end is a VW Eurovan and from the cab back, it is a Winnebego. It is an efficient cruiser! I was surprised to find mountain biking in Florida! When Tampa tried to get the Olympics they needed MTB venues. Since there are no hills they needed to use manmade hills. Phosphate mining operations left some sites highly contoured. It was really from their irresponsible environmental practices. The Tampa Olympic committee decided to go in and develop trail systems on the mining sites. They actually pretty ands a lot of fun. They became so popular that the state made two of them into State Parks. Alafia River State Park and Santos State Park are great fun and there is also Baum Boyette. I hope you are doing great by wood stove up there in VT! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-APuJXnE4_nQ.html
Hey Bobby, pretty impressive, great job. What is it all mounted on? Who makes the engine and frame and all that? I do have to ask you how do you go "mountain" biking in Florida?
I love the bathroom situation, so clever and gives so much more space. I wanted to do van but I always thought that van would be to tiny to have a decent sized bathroom, so I was looking a class c rvs but they are so expensive.
