Also they will tell you that you are missing paperwork or parts of your BOL and use that as a reason to not pay you. And you cant prove it, because that's the paperwork you just turnef in so they have it in front of them while using it as an excuse to not pay you. And have a lawyer read over your contract and let them tell you what type of company this is. They try to make you responsible for everything and they are not even liable when they mess up. They can charge you for quitting. And thats with no damage to their equipment or anything else besides saying I feel as though I need to find a better place. STAY AWAY
Not vouching for a company I know nothing about but being around the block with trucking for 12 years…it’s a LEASE…a CONTRACT. You’re getting upset about them charging you when you quit and make you responsible for everything. That is EVERY SINGLE LEASE OUT THERE. It’s business. Don’t you think a business would rather YOU pay for things on the truck that need to be fixed or repaired, or we’re playing Boy Scouts and they’re just gonna eat the cost out of the goodness of their hearts??? And yes it even comes down to the difference in wear on your tires from the day you got your truck. Again I can’t count how many lease I’ve seen get that picky, and I’m not talking these foreign Midwest companies either. SWIFT, Schneider, Stevens, they ALL ( nearly every single one of em) do it! Deal with it or don’t lease a truck. As for the paperwork thing, that’s a different story. We’ve all ran into that from time to time. Probably the broker wanting something you don’t have and refusing to pay the company…who’s in turn refusing to pay you. It happens when your a company driver, when your dispatcher is asking you for a piece of paperwork you don’t have, I’ve had it happen countless times…they just say they’ll call the broker or the the receiver and get what they need…the difference here is the company is legally obligated to pay you when you’re their employee, when your a contractor you have no employee rights because you AREN’T an employee, you are a independent contractor.
Man I was at silver for 5 months. I can’t believe u lasted this long. I was a team as well. They didn’t have enough contracted freight. I wanted to stay on that target account but they forced us off. Pella just didn’t pay enough.
My lease will be up in a matter of weeks with Tel. You said you drive for silver trucking my question is what division do you driver for van flat or reefer and do you pick you own load from a load board?

Did you just say you pay $700.00 a week, for your trailer, cause earlier you said you pay $700 a week for the truck weekly, so $1400 week for both, Dammm!!
