Traditionally, the new students are often lead by the senior students and the teacher, in this case Ip Man, would have observed, made corrections where needed, teach new techniques, etc.
Maybe it looks great, but it is not correct in some parts. Per example, the double eye punch, grip. As a trainer you should always be aware, what the purpose of any movement in the form is.
Thank you for the comment. Our instructors are very skilled and aware of the purpose of each movement. You may have learned from a different lineage with diff forms that may be why you feel that way.
Thank you for this. Clearly shows the difference of the Ving Tsun system to the one I learned from the Wong Shun Leung lineage. I must give these movements a go and practice. Respect.

Hyperextension in the arms when deploying the Palm Strikes made me grimace a little. If used with energy or turning of the core could cause probable joint problems if practised often. Gan Sao a bit high to protect your midsection if that’s what it’s for but an interesting open handed form with very strong looking structures better suited to turning of the body in use. Great for beginners without doubt. Thanks for sharing.
I like your Sil lime Tao however it is slightly different from James Yim Lee’s sil Lime Tao in the green book. It also differs from Randy Williams SiL Tao. It’s not to say any are wrong. However the diversity is gracious to learn. NG Mui was a historical genius!
@@josephbunone6126 yes different lineages have different interpretations. None of them right or wrong as long as you know the purpose behind the movements
