This could be like the second single of the album if it was released at the time unfortunately I missed out purchase this album years ago on the website why was younger but able to listen the whole album now thank you!!!🙏🏾
It sucks that this album wasn't able to be put out commercially because none of the samples on this album were cleared. This song could be a hit single. There could've been a video made for this song its so liked. This isn't my favorite album but the 7 songs I like alot I play during the week for the last 5 years of me listening to it. I 💭 that I was NEVER going to listen to this album but I'm glad that I did! Rip Prince Be-the Nocturnal 🙏!
So do I! Been a fan since 91. Me and Prince Be are born on the same month but he's much older than me. Do you have the physical copy of this album to know what sample he used for this song? I'm curious. If you don't that's ok.
The 3rd longest song they've ever made. The first is "Medley, mine, mind". The next is the "Untitled" song off the "Dearest Christian.....(98)" album. Then this one. All 3 are creative 👍! Rip Prince Be🙏!
So glad that they had the opportunity to get Al B Sure as a sample and an actual feature on this song. The video is just as good 👍! Their first 2 albums shaped my childhood. This album even though Prince Be doesn't rap shaped my young adulthood. Rip Prince Be 🙏!
This is one of my favorite songs on this album because of how it's put together. This sounds like music you'd go sailing or going on a cruise with a date. Str8 mellowness 👍!
Any reason for the re-uploads?? Anyway… I’m still kicking PM Dawn in 2023 daily, haven’t actually listened to anything else for the past year (since I rediscovered it) just a shame it all got cut short due to Prince Be passing away, and being taken over by their cousin Doc G 😢
Do you know what time period these songs from “The Jim Sullivan Syndrome” are from? After “Fucked Music” I imagine but I wonder how close to Attrell’s death some of these were
"The Jim Sullivan Syndrome" is from 2003. He called this a sampler, and was going to release the full album later. I think copyrights got in the way of him releasing it, so he just said 'screw it' and moved on to something else.
