Indie games keep proving they are capable of filling that mid developer role, and it is all thanks to great artistic direction. "Realistic" graphics are just the same as the rest and get outdated half a decade later
I like this exploration of lesser-known fighting games. I've loved fighting games since I was young and used to experiment with more indie games a long time ago but recently my girlfriend has been introducing them to me again!
I just started playing 3 days ago and one thing about the late game that helped me, (having a bad laning phase, and mediocre mid game using Seven) was the item return fire,it literally helped me to at least compensate for how bad I was at the game earlier.
The discord got me in around 6 hours later. Added the three most recent posters around lunch and got in a few hours after I got off work and was able to add my friends.
This is exactly what I was looking for! So many tutorials assume a certain understanding of the game that new players just don't have. This has helped me a lot!
"As a non-binary person" etc, etc, your insight spoke a lot to how I felt growing up and finding out I was agender. Also, you and Tricky have been huge for me in the FGC. I have been scared in every facet of my life to express my queerness to anyone but those close to me. But specifically in regards to the FGC and traveling, meeting new people, it's been cool to just confidently acknowledge my gender and be honest about my pronouns. Always appreciate your insights
This was an absolutely fantastic video, thank you so much man. I feel like I learned more from this video than I have from any other video talking about how Deadlock works I’m not sure if you’re checking comments, but I wanted to ask about a specific hero: Pocket. If Pocket is weaker in midgame than their teammates, do they benefit from being in team fights? Or should they be pushing lane? Because I feel like it could go either way. Pocket’s ult can shut down enemy pushes because it does so much damage, but Pocket also doesn’t have any real cc. Just burst damage. What’s the right answer, do you think?
I guess my confusion comes in from the last hit vs souls... are you trying to deny their souls, too? Is that why you're not focusing on last hitting? It seems like you could be punching the weak ones, maybe harassing? Or is that what you mean? Sorry if this was explained elsewhere. Any time I play, I just punch weak minions or try to get both last hit and soul if I'm safe to do so.
Just because souls are more important than last hits does not mean you should stop last hitting. Brushing your teeth is more important than washing your hands, but ideally you would be doing both. I was attempting to underline the importance of not ignoring souls, and ended up confusing people instead.
Outside of your opponents denying souls, you're guaranteed full value if they pop. You dont NEED to shoot at the souls to gain full value, but if your enemies are denying, then yes, it's ideal that you shoot them first.
FYI First TI Dota 2 was in beta. xd If people having fun and want to make some community tournament and what not, idc. and Valve always kinda ok with this kind of stuff. they could ban certain bugs or ban "OP" heroes or mechanics that abusable .etc
when i don't focus on last hits, they push the minions all the way up to my tower and then start getting me to sub 100 hp while i hide behind guardian or even between guardian and walker
You may have misunderstood me, which is my fault for explaining this poorly. You need to be pushing the wave and trying to last hit, while paying particular extra attention to soul securing and denial. Forgoing pushing or last hitting altogether is a mistake for the reason you describe.
Should note that you dont need to last hit the creeps, you just need to damage them recently, i almost always prioritize harassing the enemy and grabbing orange souls over managing creeps, it’s a great way of keeping them on the back foot during early and laning phases
@@loops9508 beats is a great resource, even though its not guides the matches are good to watch and you can pick up a lot. Sim is really broad, and has a lot of combo and confirm variety even before you get into unfly state tomfoolery, so def a char worth exploring in the lab!
A fellow Dhalsim Enjoyer! Magnetro here on YT has a series of Dhalsim-related videos that you might find helpful: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-XcsnOGhP6o8.html
