Thanks for the great video content, but these image transitions are frankly terrible for the art appreciation. "Kill your darlings" on these? I found another video to watch, and might come back to this one (after work) when I can better cope with these transitions.
I’ve bee looking at paintings and ‘studying’ art for decades. JV is really the only artist I’ve come across whose work actually engages fully with my imagination and feelings. His subject matter and especially, his compositional sense create a sense of: storytelling, colour harmony, tension, poise, symmetry and a host of other appreciative qualities.
