Great vlog! Love the ideas! Instead of the spray, you could also use matte mod podge. I use a foam brush and paint it on the laminated item. It works wonders!

Great idea to prep for the birthdays ahead of time! I would agree that simple is best...I way overdid my birthdays last year (birthday treat bags filled with candy/toys plus a birthday crown). That was way too much money and time. I retired from teaching after last year and I think I did it because I knew it was my last year. But, it was still way too much, and too expensive.
So exciting! Just had my graduation, so it makes it feel even more real for me to start my teaching journey this fall too. Because it is for sure difficult for me, I'd like to remind you to enjoy your summer break too.

The rubric in the front of all the assessments and work samples, is that provide by the district/school or do you create it yourself? That seems like a great way to assess students. May do something similiar for myself as a way to collect data. Thank you for this video. Alicia from CT.
